About My Wanderlust

Jordan Snow

Photographer

I’m Jordan, the photographer behind My Wanderlust. For over 13 years, I’ve photographed weddings, portraits, and the people who make them worth remembering. Based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, I travel wherever your plans take you. What keeps me invested is the human connection: getting to know you, seeing what matters to you, and making photographs that bring you back to how it felt to be there.

You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. That’s my job. I bring clear direction, a calm presence, and a sense of humor so being photographed feels comfortable. I pay attention to the relationships and little interactions alongside the big moments, and I work with you to make room for photos without letting them take over your day. Your people, your personality, and your experience shape how I photograph your wedding.

For engagement photos I like to recommend having a few outfit changes, keep in mind the backdrop we are using. Downtown vibes can be colorful, vibrant and rich tones. Trees and Nature neutral tones work best!
Travel fees from my home office start at .85 a mile round trip. Elopements depend on location. I do have a bucket list of places I want to visit. If you're eloping to one of these locations on the list, the only fee will be travel expenses. If the place you're getting married at is not on my list, feel free to contact me with more information. We can always make something work <3
I understand things can happen that are out of our control. Depending on the retainer paid, along with the work that has already been done on my end, is the factor. Retainers are nonrefundable; retainers can be used as credit towards another session.
I have done photos in all types of weather, so if we have to cancel a session, I keep my books open for later dates. I tend to reschedule if it's above 25 MPH wind gusts. A little sprinkle doesn't matter, but we will reschedule if it's storming out. As far as weddings go, unless a hurricane or tornado is going through our exact location, we can always make it work!
