Q: How long have you been in business?

I began officiating weddings in 2020 and officially expanded Blessings by Bartlett to include day-of coordination services in 2025. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of helping countless couples feel supported, relaxed, and fully present on their wedding day.

Q: Can we personalize our ceremony?

Absolutely! Every ceremony I create has personalization to reflect your unique love story, values, and personalities. I’ll guide you through a simple, collaborative process that allows you to include meaningful details—whether that’s special readings, family traditions, personal vows, or a touch of humor. Your ceremony should feel like you—authentic, heartfelt, and unforgettable. NOTE: The Quick Sign & Go has no personalization, while the Bronze package has light personalization.

Q: We’re legally married already. Can you still do our ceremony?

Of course! Many couples choose to have a symbolic or vow renewal-style ceremony after making their marriage legal. Whether you eloped earlier, signed your license privately, or just want to celebrate with family and friends, I’ll create a ceremony that honors your love story and makes the moment feel just as meaningful and memorable as the “official” day.

Q: Do you provide or require premarital coaching?

I don’t require premarital coaching, but I do offer it for couples who want to strengthen communication and connection before marriage. My sessions are relaxed, insightful, and often include practical tools for navigating married life together. Plus, completing premarital coaching may qualify you for a discount on your Minnesota marriage license! NOTE: I am not a licensed therapist.

Q: Do you do rehearsals? Is that included in your cost?

Yes! I offer rehearsal coordination to help everyone feel comfortable and confident before the big day. Some packages include the rehearsal, while others can add it on for an additional fee. During the rehearsal, I’ll walk your wedding party through the processional, placement, and timing so everything flows smoothly on your wedding day.

Q: How many weddings have you done?

As of now, I’ve had the honor of officiating 46 weddings, with weddings #47 through #66 already on the calendar! Each one has been unique, heartfelt, and crafted to reflect the couple’s story. I’m grateful for every opportunity to help couples feel supported, relaxed, and fully present on their special day. (December 14, 2025)

Q: Do you travel for weddings? Are there travel fees?

Yes! I travel throughout Minnesota and surrounding states. Yes, I charge travel fees which will depend on distance and location. I’ll always provide clear details upfront.

Q: How early do you arrive on the wedding day?

Depending on the package you choose, I would arrive between 30 - 90 minutes before the ceremony to connect with vendors, check the setup, and ensure everything is ready for your walk down the aisle.

Q: Do you handle the marriage license?

Yes! I’ll review your license in advance to ensure it’s complete and file it with the county after your ceremony—so you don’t have to stress about the paperwork. NOTE: It is the responsibility of the couple to apply for, pay for, and pick up the marriage license with the appropriate county and/or state.

Q: What’s the booking process like?

Once you decide to move forward, I’ll send a simple contract and deposit request to reserve your date. From there, you’ll receive a detailed timeline outlining each step—from your deposit to two weeks after the ceremony—so you’ll always know what to expect as we plan your perfect day.

Best for couples who: Only need the legal requirements of marriage completed. Witness Requirement (Minnesota): Minnesota law requires two (2) witnesses, age 18 or older, to be present at the time of signing. Witnesses must be provided by the couple. This service does NOT include: *Ceremony planning or personalization *Meetings or rehearsals * Guests, processional elements, or formal ceremony structure *Travel Expense

The best!!
Jenn from Blessings by Bartlett was the perfect wedding officiant/wedding coordinator. Her communication style was clear, helpful and truly valuable. The quality of her work was priceless - she went above and beyond to ensure the ceremony was meaningful and personal. As a day-of wedding planner, Jenn brought a calming presence to the chaos and allowed me, as the photographer, to capture everything I needed. I'm so grateful Jenn was there to coordinate the event, as the venue did not have an on-site coordinator. Blessings by Bartlett is the best wedding officiant service.

Top notch officiant and day-of coordinator
Blessings by Bartlett was phenomenal to work with! One of our couples at our venue hired her as their officiant and day-of coordinator and the wedding ran SO smoothly! Jenn was so organized and kept everything on time and on task. I would hire her again in a heart beat! I even added her to our vendor list as our preferred vendor!
