Not only do I have extensive public speaking expertise (being a comedian for almost two decades), but I will always remember the little things (like making sure you’re centered so your pictures come out perfect) that others may not. In addition, I respond to emails in about 4 seconds (I have email OCD) and will always make sure your ceremony is a highlight of your wedding day.

Book Harris!
We couldn't have asked for a better officiant than Harris. He was direct and easy to work with, making the planning process smooth and collaborative. On the day of, Harris set the perfect tone for our day—fun and relaxed—while still keeping everything meaningful and personal. What really stood out was how well he read the room and knew exactly when to land a joke or pause for a moment. Harris made our ceremony feel genuinely memorable rather than just going through the motions. We highly recommend Harris Bloom to any couple looking for an officiant who is both professional and human.

Best Officiant
Our original officiant became ill and let us know just 48 hours before our wedding that he could no longer perform the ceremony. In a panic, I reached out to Harris, and within minutes he responded and confirmed he could step in. From the moment we spoke, the difference was night and day. Harris brought a calm, lighthearted energy that immediately put us at ease. His humor, professionalism, and ability to tell our story made the ceremony feel incredibly personal and genuine. He also provided great advice throughout the process and was thoughtful about every detail, even making sure to step aside at the right moments so our photographer could capture the best shots. I’ve lost count of how many guests told us it was one of the best wedding ceremonies they’ve ever attended. Harris’s personality, well-timed humor, and ability to connect with everyone made a lasting impression. I would recommend Harris without hesitation to anyone looking for a wedding officiant on the East Coast.

Exactly what we were looking for!
Harris was exactly what we were looking for in an officiant! He took the time to get to know us and create a personalized speech during the ceremony. His background as a comedian was definitely a hit! Not only did he bring the humor and make the ceremony actually fun, but he also had many touching remarks about our relationship that he dug out of us with his thoughtful questions ahead of time. It was the perfect balance of romantic and fun, which is exactly what we were looking for. Our guests had a lot of good things to say about him as well! He was also able to guide us on all the administrative things to do too, which was a huge help. We also love that he responds to emails practically instantly! We would definitely recommend him!

Amazing officiant
Harris was great to work with. We met multiple times before the wedding, so he could get to know us. He also gave us each a questionnaire for us to answer so he could personalize our ceremony. He worked with us on everything we wanted and didn’t want. We loved his sense of humor, which he brought to our ceremony. I highly recommend Harris as your officiant. You can’t go wrong.
