I became a wedding officiant in 2023 because I believe ceremonies should be anything but boring. This is the moment two people declare their love, it should be heartfelt, engaging, and unapologetically YOU. Emerald officiated our wedding in June 2025. She was absolutely amazing! She took the time to get to know us, and from a casual phone call worked to create a beautiful ceremony script. She mixed in personal, spiritual, official, and fun language into the script. She guided us through ceremony styles and ideas that helped make our ceremony feel unique. Emerald officiated our wedding on 6/21/25 and we couldn’t be happier. If you want an officiant that beautifully and eloquently tells your love story, you have to go with Emerald. During our initial call she took the time to really learn about us as a couple. The questions she asked us to prepare for the ceremony got to the root of why we fell in love as a couple. She guided us through writing our vows so they felt natural and fit our style. She also had several helpful suggestions for ceremony styles; we went with a handfasting ceremony. It never felt like she was just doing a job—she made sure she got all the details right and truly cared. She was always responsive, professional, and encouraging. After our ceremony, one of the biggest compliments we got was about Emerald. Everyone was raving about how the ceremony felt special and genuine. Many people thought we thought Emerald was a friend because of how well she told our story. One guest said they even wanted Emerald to officiate their wedding!
