Typically, yes, we require a minimum of bride + 4 per service type booked.

Is there a travel fee?

Travel fees start at $50 per artist and include up to 50 miles from Columbus, Ohio.

Is there an additional artist fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if your wedding requires us to send more than 1 artist to be able to complete all services, there is a $195+/artist fee applied.

How far in advance should I book?

Typically, our services book 9-12 months in advance, and we recommend booking no later than 6 months out. Prime wedding season is May – October and dates book quickly. Best practice is to secure your date once you know for sure a vendor is who you want for your special day.

I have a diverse bridal party, are your artists skilled in different ethnicities?

One of our top priorities at The Lovely Artistry Collective is ensuring that our artists are trained in a variety of skin tones and hair textures. We prioritize ongoing education for our artists on a yearly basis, focusing on color theory, color correction, different skin types, product knowledge, and more. This comprehensive training equips our artists to handle anyone who sits in their chair, regardless of their background. Diversity is a beautiful thing, and we celebrate it wholeheartedly. Our goal is to make sure that everyone who sits in our chair feels like the loveliest version of themselves.

I don't wear a lot of makeup regularly and still want to look like myself but elevated.

We completely understand the common concern many brides have about not looking like themselves on their wedding day, especially if they don't typically wear a lot of makeup in their day-to-day life. This concern has shaped our brand and signature style. Our goal is to provide soft, elevated glam that enhances your natural beauty and still feels like you. We want every bride to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin on their special day. That's why we offer bridal previews, allowing each bride to collaborate with our artists to create a look that truly reflects their individual style and personality.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

No we do not. For many reasons, too! Many brides assume that airbrush makeup is more water-resistant and long-lasting than traditional makeup. However, this isn’t the case. Airbrush makeup sits on the skin whereas traditional application melts into the skin. This allows us to have much more control over customization. Airbrush is not ideal for all skin types and traditional can be customized for everyone regardless of skin type, texture, concern, etc. Skilled artists will know how to apply flawless makeup that lasts all day. Traditional is our tried and true method of makeup application and it has been for over a decade
