Owner - Monique Peyre

My name is Monique Peyre and I own The Braid Lounge - located in Boise Idaho. We have been working weddings in the Treasure Valley area (and beyond) since 2019. We specialize in braided styles but throughout the years we have done everything, not just braids!

I have a background in the entertainment industry - working under Emmy award winning hairstylists. I worked in the hair department for live national television and do not take that experience for granted. I believe every bride deserves that “camera ready” hair, and I have dedicated my career to delivering that.

    Perfect Hair Day!

    Madison was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was so easy to communicate with from the very beginning and made the entire process stress-free. During my hair trial, she was incredibly kind, listened to exactly what I wanted, and executed it perfectly. On the wedding day, she was so calm, relaxed, and professional, making the morning enjoyable while beautifully styling my hair, my four bridesmaids, and my mom. Everyone’s hair turned out exactly how we wanted, and we couldn’t have been happier with the results!
