I’m Emilie, the artist and filmmaker behind Soft Focus Weddings. I created Soft Focus out of a love for the intimate, beautiful details that make a wedding feel uniquely yours. With a background in filmmaking and makeup artistry, I get to combine two things I love: helping people feel beautiful and preserving the moments they’ll want to return to for years to come. My approach is romantic, personal, and never one-size-fits-all. Whether I’m creating your bridal makeup or capturing your wedding on film, I want the finished result to feel unmistakably like you.

Soft Focus Weddings brings bridal makeup and cinematic wedding filmmaking together under one creative vision. Because I work both behind the makeup chair and behind the camera, I understand how beauty translates in person, in photographs, and on film. Couples can book either service individually or bundle both to simplify planning, save on combined services, and create a more visually harmonious wedding experience from getting ready through the final film.
