MUArtistry by Dayna is a professional wedding makeup artist located in Matawan, New Jersey. Owned and operated by Dayna, a certified MAC artist and licensed Esthetician since 2002, MUArtistry by Dayna’s previous clientele includes reality TV stars Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Dina Manzo (RHONJ), Kathy Wakile (RHONJ), Actress Cloris Leachman and Renee Graziano of "Mob Wives." Dayna and her team of talented artists are trained and fully capable of creating a customizable wedding look to suit to your personal style.

I absolutely love what I do. Makeup is not a job to me, it is a process I enjoy and become immersed in. I love that this process helps people feel good about themselves and I'm grateful to be a part of creating that impact on some of their most important and memorable days.

I don't! I take as little as 1 full face with lashes makeup and can work on up to 12 faces, on my own. I do have a small team of talented artists who I schedule to work with me or in place of me, as needed.
It does not. I do not upcharge for lashes or a lipstick. It is my gift to my bridal clients. I also have no problem working around lash extensions.
I am happy to use any preferred products of choice. I am also happy to provide ingredients for any products requested. I carefully select the lines/products I use to make sure they are hypo-allergenic, Opthalmoligist tested, and work well with most if not all skin types. Using clients products does not change the cost of the application as I am still taking the time (sometimes a bit longer due to being unfamiliar with a product) and using my 22 yrs experience to create a desired/flawless look.
I leave this completely up to my clients. Some brides want to lock in their date before scheduling a trial. Others would prefer to do a trial before booking. I say do what works best for you. My schedule is fairly flexible and if you have a trial scheduled, I do keep in touch if anyone reaches out to book your wedding date. I also have a small team of talented artists, if your wedding date becomes booked before you are ready to book your makeup.
I can accept - Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or Credit Card(3.5% transaction fee)

    By far, THE BEST!

    Dayna is an absolutely fantastic businesswoman, and a true artist! Her before/after photos show off her skill - what isn't shown is how lovely the make-up *feels* and how easy it is to wear! Communicating with Dayna was so easy - she guided me through the wedding trial and day-of process with detailed and focused e-mails (my preferred method of contact). I was never uncertain of her professionalism or reliability. As a bride, juggling vendors can be so time-consuming, and I never had worry about asking a million follow-up questions with Dayna - she made it all so simple and still made me feel special. I had complete confidence that the bridal party prep would be executed perfectly - and it absolutely was! She and her assistant needed so little from us and worked so efficiently while still having fun! Beyond all of this, Dayna is the gentlest person who brings a welcome calm to a chaotic time. She is so much more than a make-up artist - she is a smart and kind woman who will always be a gracious guest in your home. Dayna was recommended to me by a friend, and I will certainly be recommending her to others!

    Highly Recommend

    I booked Dayna for my bridal make up, as well as for my bridesmaids’ and mothers’ make up for my wedding day. She is the sweetest person and is very professional. She was also so accommodating and patient with me, as I changed my mind regarding my make up look a couple of times. Everyone was so happy with their wedding day look and it lasted ALL day! I highly recommend her for your big day!

    2021 Bride

    I had a rough start with makeup artists trials when I got married. But then I found Dayna and she made everything so easy! She was super flexible with mine and my mother’s makeup trial scheduling. And she did SUCH a good job for my wedding. Everyone said how flawless my makeup was. 100% would recommend her to anyone in need of getting their makeup done!

    Wouldn’t use anyone else but her !

    Dayna does the most amazing job each and every time! I had my bridal trial the day of my bridal shower and my bridal makeup day of the wedding were both absolutely amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful the entire time ! I will forever use her for any special event I have! She did such an amazing job on my bridesmaids and flower girl !

    Professional, easy to work with and great work!

    As a wedding photographer, we work with numerous vendors in the business. The make-up artist is so key because its her final work that we ultimately have to work with and when its on point, it makes our job that much easier. Dayna is pleasant, friendly and her entire team of artists are great to work with. Highly recommend.
