Kate was so wonderful to work with. She is thoughtful, creative, and experienced with a wide range of hair types. For my bridal hair, I wanted to incorporate a circlet/headpiece that my mom wore for her wedding. During our trial, Kate masterfully came up with several options for me to choose from— all were so beautiful that I had a hard time deciding until the day of the event! I also was on the fence about hiring a professional makeup artist, and Kate gave me a great referral to her colleague that I ultimately hired (Natural Looks by Victoria). The day of the wedding, Kate also did my mom’s hair, my sister’s, and the groom’s mom. One of them was a bit high maintenance/very concerned about her hair, and Kate handled her questions with grace and patience. She ultimately LOVED how Kate did her hair! Kate went above and beyond. My mom really wanted me to wear a veil (I did not), and she bought one ahead of time. My compromise was to wear it for a single photo— but only if it did not mess up my hairstyle. Kate offered to stay for the beginning of photos (we were doing them before the ceremony) so that she could place the veil and remove it properly. Thank you Kate!
