Hello my name is Genesis, and I am a your wedding day glam artist and owner of Glamworks by Gen. I am a certified bridal hair and makeup artists specializing in bridal. Like many artists I have always loved doing makeup since I was a little girl, being an MUA is not only fulfilling but an honor .I put my all into my craft and I am always training and educating myself about my line of work. I am so passionate about this industry and I can’t wait to serve many more brides as they begin their journey to happily ever after !

My brides to be are so special to me. I go above and beyond for my brides because they have placed such an enormous amount of trust in me with their wedding day look that is why at Glamworks by Gen we follow all safety and cleaning ness standards, we always wear proper PPE masks or face shield, we disinfect and sanitize all of our products and tools, and we are barbicide certified and trained. But our dedication doesn’t end there we will also have a thorough consultation and walk you through our process so you can feel confident and at ease !

Yes, we have assistants for hair and makeup in order to do hair and makeup for large bridal parties. *please be mindful that this requires a larger amount for a deposit, as large parties requires us to book that entire day just for them and no other clients”*
Yes we provide the lashes. Lashes are included in the price. But you are welcome to bring your own pair!
Unfortunately, we do not give discounts for brides that bring their own lashes. We encourage brides to use our lashes, we have many styles and sizes to cater to all your lash needs and preferences.
YES ! your makeup will last all day. We will apply layers of setting spray to make sure your make up does not smear or wear off. Which is why you should purchase micellar cleansing water to remove your makeup.
Our makeup application process is made to last. your makeup will probably last through sweat, tears, or smears. Please purchase a bottle of Micellar cleansing water and remove your makeup with a cotton pad. To remove your lashes dip a Q-Tip in warm water and hold it up to your lash line this will loosen up the lash glue making removal easy and safe for your lashes.
Yes, at Glamworks by Gen we are super versatile. We create a unique look for each bride and we always allow room for suggestions and personal preferences some brides ask for very specific things like super long lashes or lots of heavy glitter however that might not be the look for you and that’s totally fine. Don’t be discouraged and book your trial session.
Makeup can take up to an hour. But of course it all depends on your needs and wants and how unoccupied you are at the time of the application. Some brides can get very busy answering questions or giving directions during the process which is totally fine and to be expected but this can make the makeup process a little bit longer!
We do not currently give any discounts. we occasionally promotions. However you must show proof of promotion and or ask about any on-going promos.
