My name is Heather Meifert, but you can call me Ham. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I currently reside in North Texas. I’m an award-winning photographer that serves all of Texas and the rest of the US (especially my home state, Wisconsin). My vibe is moody and candid. I'm always up for a good adventure.

My photography is known for being expressive, candid, detailed and photojournalistic. I want you to see what I see. I want you to feel what I feel when I take the photograph. I tell a story of your big day. Not only that, but I strive to create memories that will last a lifetime. I’m not your traditional photographer, I will make you laugh, I'll coordinate, I'll make you comfortable - we will have a blast.

This is the petite package if you are looking for something small that would be perfect for covering your: Getting ready photos, Ceremony and the beginning of the Reception (First dance, toasts, cake cutting)

One of the most popular packages: Instead of adding on an extra $400 for an engagement session, it is complimentary with this package. Your session is 45 minutes long at the location of your choice (within the DFW area radius) and have a turn around time of 7 days so you can send out those save the dates! On your wedding date absolutely everything gets captured: Getting Ready, The ceremony, The reception and your departure (think sparkler exit, bubbles..etc)!

    Stunning wedding photos!

    Heather is incredibly kind, helpful, and creative. She did so much more than what I asked for. She helped me with all the little details and helped keep my wedding on track even though she did not have to. I am so thankful for her help and the wonderful photos I have of our special day.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-8 weeks after your wedding.
I do not give specified number of images since I shoot as many photos as I can on your big day.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. If I bring an assistant photographer, they may be shadowing me to see how a wedding goes as they may be getting into wedding photography. I may bring along just an assistant to hold lights or hold my bags for me. This will not cost you extra. The only time it will cost is if a second shooter is needed.
In my 8 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my associates that has the same style as me and make sure you're in good hands.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
