Makeup Artist

I am a certified makeup artist by The Academy for Salon Professionals and have worked for various cosmetic brands such as; Sephora, MAC Cosmetics, and Urban Decay. Throughout my journey working in the beauty industry, I have gained confidence in working with different makeup products, skin types and skin tones. I strive to stay up-to-date with different makeup trends. From a subtle natural look to a red-carpet glam, I can do it all! Working closely with my clients to establish a finished look that they love is something that I absolutely enjoy!

Since 2015, I have worked for various cosmetic brands such as; Sephora, Mac Cosmetics, and Urban Decay. I have also had incredible opportunities working on-set and at live events with Santa Clara Wedding Expo, Beacon Veterinary Hospital, Insomniac Events, Everlane, Steady US, Make it Scope, Zillow, and Toast.

    Best in the bay!

    When I first started my search for a MUA, I was initially concerned about finding someone that has experience with southeast Asian complexions in the North Bay. Thankfully I found Sandy and she was able to travel North to Sonoma County for services! Sandy was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was so accommodating in our emails, answering all of my questions and willing to add services to our contract even at the last minute. Day of, she made feel calm and kept me distracted with conversation while the bridesmaids around me were in a frenzy getting ready. She did two services for me, hair and makeup, and typically I would assume someone good at makeup wouldn't do hair as well, but she absolutely slayed both!! She is incredibly talented and kind, even helping me bridesmaids around her with any questions they had about their hair and makeup. She made me feel so beautiful but still like myself. Sandy listened to all of my desires and made me look exactly like I how envisioned. I am so lucky I found her!

    Hire Sandy! As a planner, Sandy was fantastic to work with - quick responses, incredible work, and a fun vibe that kept my bride calm and happy her entire wedding morning. She brings an incredible vibe to every space she's in and ensures that the glam will last all night. I highly recommend Sandy for any bride looking to feel and look her best on her wedding day. She does lashes, extensions, hair, and makeup with ease and confidence!

    Sandy is amazing!

    I cannot say enough good things about working with Sandy! She did such a great job on my wedding hair and makeup, I got so many compliments! She totally understood the look I was going for (natural, hair mostly secured for my outdoor wedding) and I looked fresh all day, from my ceremony until the after party. She was also flexible when it came to scheduling, I would definitely hire her again!

    Sandy is top notch!

    Highly recommend Glam by Sands. Sandy was so accommodating, friendly, and did such a wonderful job with both my hair and makeup (I was the bride). She completely understood my vision to want to look natural but elevated on my wedding day and she didn't disappoint. I would 100% use Sandy's services again!
