This includes full makeup application consultation prior to the event and Day of Bridal Makeup at your location of choice within 20 miles of 90650. Airbrush foundation and faux lashes are complementarity included in these rates. Preview can include multiple looks and allows you to wear the style for a day and change anything if needed. A surprise free event will keep you reassured you will look your very best. Touch Up Kit included. Approximately 2-4 ½ hours for preview, 2 hours day of.

Bridal Hairstyling with Preview

Description

This includes full hairstyle consultation prior to the event. Preview can include multiple looks and allows you to wear the style for a day and change anything if needed. Only salon quality and luxury products are used. Styles can include curls, waves, ½ up & ½ down, Hollywood waves, side pinning, braids, or an updo. Travel is included on the day of the event (up to 20 miles of 90650) Approximately 2 - 3 ½ hours for preview, up to 2 hours day of event.

    She is the absolute best at what she does!

    I met Des about 12 years ago when she agreed to do my make up and hair TFP for a photo shoot. I had had my make up professionally done several times before and it was fun, but I never really felt like they got what I was looking for and was left feeling like I’d rather have just done it myself. But OMG when I looked in the mirror after Des worked her magic on me I had never felt more beautiful in my life, and the confidence I had came shining through in those photos. Fast forward 12 years and I never forgot that feeling. Honestly, one of the first thoughts I had after my boyfriend proposed to me was “I wonder if Des still does hair and make up because I want to feel like that on my wedding day”. I reached out to her and she instantly remembered who I was and it felt like no time at all had passed between us. Not only is Des is the absolute best at what she does, she is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful people I have met. All of our communication up to the wedding day felt like we were old friends and l truly felt like she was invested in doing everything in her power to give me that feeling and help make my wedding day as perfect as possible. I decided to do a make up preview so we could nail down the look and I would have one less thing to potentially be stressed about on the big day. I had some thoughts on the look which she was eager to hear, she took them and just ran with them like a true professional, completely exceeding my expectations. I felt like we both had so much fun with the whole process. I left feeling like a weight had been lifted off me knowing even if everything else fell apart, at least I was going to look gorgeous on my wedding day! When the day came, Des showed up early and I felt her excitement for me. This isn’t just a job to her, her heart is truly in providing an elevated, unique experience giving her bride the royal treatment. We had some last min changes, both my mom and my future mother in law decided they wanted make up done, and Des had allowed enough buffer time to be able to accommodate them easily without compromising my experience. The whole process was so much more than I realized it would be. It was a full spa treatment, massage, skincare, even deep hand moisturizer, topped with the most gorgeous hair and make up. Des has the gift of being able to make it feel like we were just two bff’s getting ready for a fun night out, while still being the absolute solid professional I needed to keep me cool and relaxed preparing for the biggest event of my life. When I stepped out of that chair I felt like the most confident, beautiful woman in the world and I am literally tearing up as I write this recalling the feelings I had in that moment. Everything went perfectly that day, my make up and hair held up like Stonehenge. I have already referred Des to my next two girlfriends who are getting married. I hope anyone who is considering booking with her will lock it in because she is an absolute master of her craft, and every woman deserves to feel that feeling especially on the biggest day of her life! I could go on and on about all the wonderful, individually tailored details she provided for my experience and about what I saw of Des’ character as a person, but I’m probably already out of room on this review.     Best makeup artist!!

    Des is the best makeup artist hands down! She made me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day and I have gone back to her for other big events. My makeup stayed in place all day even though I cried and danced a lot! Her friendly attitude makes you feel super comfortable while she does your hair and/or makeup. 100% recommended!

    Best make-up and MUA ever!

    I have had my make-up done with Des a few times now and she nails it every time. My make-up is always done so beautifully and I love the way she does my eyebrows, its comfortable, light and last all night. Not only is the make-up amazing but she her self and the experience is the absolute best. She is always professional and easy to talk to. Understands what you want and delivers. She is also just so lovely and tons of fun. I definitely recommend.

    You deserve the best & Deserae is the best!

    I would like to say preface my review by saying that I don’t normally wear makeup or style my hair. That being said, I spent alot of time looking through portfolios and meeting with potential make up artists. A friend recommended Deserae Barajas, so I booked a makeup preview with her. During our preview, Des asked me about what I envisioned for my wedding. She was also the only MUA that asked to see my wedding dress and Pinterest board so she could better understand my taste and overall wedding aesthetic. My hair and makeup came out beautifully during the preview, so I booked her for my wedding. The day of my wedding, I looked and felt fxxxing gorgeous! Des did a spectacular job on my hair and my makeup. She recommended that I go with a slightly darker shade of lipstick to better compliment my skin tone, and that made all of the difference in my overall look. I got married on Halloween in Southern California, so it was about 87 outside. The heat made me sweat but my hair and makeup still looked flawless! At the reception, I had a great time drinking and dancing. The best part was that I never even had to touch up my makeup! I looked great! I was glad I invested in Des Barajas because her talent and work made it easier for me to enjoy my day. When I received my wedding photos, my husband and I were both floored by how amazing we both looked. I received a ton of compliments on my hair and makeup, and I was finally able to really see why. My face looked amazing, and my hair was beautiful. Working with Des was really easy and comfortable. She listened to what my beauty needs and concerns were, and her talent far exceeded my expectations. I have recommended her to all of my family and friends, and you’d be a fool to not hire her. The girl works wonders! Thank you for making me look and feel beautiful Des!
