    Hiring Angeleno Beauty for my wedding hair and makeup services was one of the best decisions I made! From reaching out through The Knot to the consultation call, process leading up to the beauty trial, to the big day; everything was seamless and Stephanie went the extra mile to make me feel well cared for by answering my random calls and texts even though she was not obligated to. As an example, I started getting severe negative skin conditions on my face (e.g. pimples, eczema, dry spots, etc.) and Stephanie not only offered me suggestions that worked for her, she checked in with me to see how I was faring. Any notes I had post makeup and hair trial she kept track of and on the big day, she continually checked with me to ensure everything I wanted was achieved. For my bridesmaids as well she emulated the same level of expertise and professionalism with each of them, making sure they felt important and well taken care of. Stephanie was an absolute dream to work with and I am very grateful to her for everything she did. I would highly recommend you hiring her company.

    I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Angelino Beauty, specifically the customer service I received. In hindsight, I should have read the Yelp reviews before booking, as the lack of professionalism displayed by Stephanie Navarro in her responses to negative feedback on yelp should have been a red flag. Unfortunately, Angelino Beauty came recommended by my wedding planner, and since all of her other recommendations were outstanding, I trusted this referral without doing my full due diligence. From the beginning, the billing process felt arbitrary. I was charged travel fees without being told where anyone was traveling from, but I paid them without question. However, after I had already paid my final balance in full, I was unexpectedly sent another invoice for \150. I requested multiple times for a clear breakdown of these charges but was never given a concrete explanation. The only response I received was that "everything matched" and that if I could find an error, it would be corrected--hardly the type of accountability or transparency one expects from a business. When I expressed that a business owner should be able to explain charges directly, I was met with indifference. I was offered a call to discuss, but with it being the week before my wedding, I didn't have time to waste on something that should have been handled easily by email. I made my dissatisfaction clear and gave Stephanie the opportunity to resolve the issue, but no effort was made to improve the situation. To be fair, the makeup artists themselves were wonderful--I was very happy with my makeup. The hair styling, however, left something to be desired. It was clear there was a lack of experience with ethnic hair. Still, in the wedding industry and especially at this price point, I expected better. Angelino Beauty was the only vendor that fell short, and unfortunately, it was due entirely to poor professionalism and lack of customer care. I would not use this business again and cannot recommend them.

    Stephanie and her team were wonderful to work with and the HMUA’s were beyond talented! I felt totally taken care of leading up to the wedding and had a great morning getting ready together on wedding day. Would highly recommend for anyone trying to organize HMUA for a group, Angeleno Beauty made it a breeze!
