Founder and Lead Designer

Witch Hazel is a Beacon, NY floral design studio creating wedding and event florals that are lush, romantic, and architectural. We work primarily with fresh flowers, building sculptural pieces around a considered palette and point of view for each celebration. Full-service weddings start at $7,500, and we offer a la carte wedding and elopement flowers (pickup or delivery only) from $750. Our work has been featured in the New York Times, and we are on preferred vendor lists at leading Hudson Valley venues, including Bird & Bottle Inn.

Our florals are designed like artistic objects, not arrangements. We've built a wedding around a bride's black dress and another almost entirely from greenery, so if you have an unconventional idea, bring it. Ingredients like kangaroo paw, feather grass, tobacco blossoms, and Hades ranunculus give our work its edge, and when a concept calls for it, we bring in natural elements like metals and minerals. Our founder leads the design and builds the signature pieces herself, and we sneak in sentimental touches only you will know are there. A dedicated crew handles installation and breakdown for a seamless day, start to finish.

    Witch Hazel's Florals are stunning beyond compare and transform any space into pure magic! Whether it's gorgeous whites and creams throughout or a vibrant collage of colors, each arrangement is brimming with lush beauty, unique and lovely textures and personality that can only be created by the artist that has dreamt them up. I could delve into an arrangement and marvel at it for hours. They are talent beyond compare and so worth choosing to make all of your floral dreams come true!

We design weddings throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond, including spots like Beacon, Garrison, Cold Spring, Newburgh, Saugerties, and more. We travel to venues outside the area regularly.
Our wedding minimum starts at $7,500 and varies by region. Floral budgets move with guest count, wedding party size, and how much you want flowers to be the thing people remember. We'll always give you a straight answer about what's realistic before you invest real time.
The earlier the better. Larger installations and peak-season dates go first, and we take on a limited number of weddings so each one gets proper attention. If your date is close, reach out anyway. Sometimes it works!
You submit an inquiry, we talk through your venue, palette, and vision, and we build a custom proposal from there. Every proposal is designed around your specific wedding. We don't work from packages.
Yes, for elopements and smaller celebrations. Orders start at $750, with designer's choice flowers, pickup or delivery only, and three weeks' notice.
Yes. We press and preserve bridal bouquets into framed wall art, shadow boxes, or domes and cloches. Reach out before your wedding so we can plan timing — flowers need to reach us within a few days of the big day.
