We are farmer florists, creating locally-sourced, sustainably grown, seasonal floral arrangements for St. Louis-area weddings since 2018. If you’re looking for outside-the-ordinary wedding flowers, you’ve found them. Our designs are filled with life, color, and movement. We draw our inspiration from the time we spend ‘off the beaten path’ in Midwestern forests and prairies. Each bouquet is rich in the flowers, branches, seedpods, leaves, berries, and vines that embody the season of your wedding and the elegance of the natural world. Many of the varieties we use you won’t find at any other florist.

We strive to maintain the natural world with our business practices, which are low-waste and low-emissions, respecting all living things human and otherwise. Designing with native plants holds a special place in our hearts; when it comes to creating elegant, upscale floral designs with them, no one does it better. Whether it’s an arbor, arch, freestanding floral pillar, chuppah, altar, or mandap—we love creating floral backdrops for your ceremony. Even better? When we get to hang flowers from the ceiling with garlands, vining, and floral chandeliers, or float them in a lake or fountain, we love covering any and every surface in flowers.

    Incredible from the consultation to the wedding!

    Wild Ginger knocked it out of the park at our wedding! Carolyn sat down with me at the beginning and listened to every random idea, favorite flowers, and out-there concepts, then curated and created the most amazing florals for our wedding! We threw a lot of inspiration at her - from a basketball vase to tomato vines - and Carolyn and the team ran with it. One especially incredible touch was the incorporation of fruits into our reception centerpieces. The inclusion of tomatoes, peaches, grapes, and citrus were stunning... and delicious to our younger guests (our ring bearer ate all the peaches on his table and went on the hunt for more around the reception! ;) The florals were one of the things our guests are still talking about weeks later! Thank you for making our special day so beautiful, memorable, and unique!

    Truly a Dream Wedding Florist!

    I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carolyn and Wild Ginger Weddings! Our wedding flowers for our May 2026 wedding were beyond what I could have ever imagined and we received so many compliments from our guests about them too! From the very beginning, Carolyn was super easy and fun to work with and somehow took my vague ideas and turned them into exactly what I wanted and more. The flowers were absolutely stunning and truly set the tone for our wedding and reception. Every arrangement was gorgeous and unique from the huge arbor piece, my stunning bouquet, to my daughter’s little flower crown which I am still obsessed with (even if she wouldn’t wear it). I also adored the taper candles that they used which just added to the ambiance of the night. Truly can't recommend Wild Ginger enough for your wedding day! Choosing them as our florist was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! I'm so grateful to Carolyn and her team for creating flowers we'll never forget!

    My Favorite Wedding Vendor We Hired

    From the moment we first spoke with Carolyn at Wild Ginger Weddings, we were impressed by her timely, caring, and thorough communication style. She took the time to truly understand our vision for the wedding, which was themed around the St Louis Art Museum where my husband and I had our first date. Carolyn expertly narrowed down my broad design ideas into tailored, detailed, and truly show-stopping floral arrangements that perfectly captured the feel of Dutch master flower paintings, including the special touch of incorporating my request for tulips. The end result was impactful, with a wonderful variety of blooms and textures that felt worthy of museum display. We were thrilled with the level of care and attention Carolyn and her team put into making our wedding day florals truly special.

    Cottage Core to the Max!

    Wild Ginger Weddings was a joy to work with. To just get it said, the arrangements were beautiful, tasteful, personalized, and perfectly done. Of the service, they were prompt in response, exceptionally reasonable in pricing structure, worked within a budget well, and provided set up, flowers, greenery, vases, and awesome vibes. They even take awesome requests (I wish we had asked about pitcher plants!) Our fall wedding had seasonal flowers in bud vases, stunning bouquets, boutonnières, and even a flower wand for the flower girl.

    Beautiful!

    The arrangements were perfect and Carolyn was incredible. We felt like she really understood our vision without being shy about sharing her own opinion and expertise, we loved having the opportunity to use more local and seasonal flowers, and she made the process incredibly smooth and transparent.

Yes, we have a $3,000 minimum for events.
Yes! We offer rentals for an additional cost, including candles and chuppahs. We can also build custom installations - we love the opportunity to get creative!

We offer breakdown services for a fee, which depends on the distance we need to travel and if the breakdown is late-night.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do; venue and wedding date are important to know so we can plan appropriately. Please make sure to book no later than 3 months in advance of your wedding date.
