Thistle & Moon was founded in 2021 by Mary Furby. She recognized the need or unique and modern floral design in the Moore County area. With a little (more like a lot) of help from her support system, Mary created a company dedicated to bringing intention into every design. We believe in finding beauty in the unique details. Our flowers will never be mass-produced, over replicated or thoughtless. We are here to help you design events, weddings, elopements, and your everyday flower needs.     Creativity and beauty

    We were thrilled with the stunning florals by Thistle and Moon for our wedding. Mary (the florist) expertly brought our whimsical yet modern vision to life with vibrant colors and cascading arrangements. Her creativity was evident in every detail, including the elegant white columns and monochromatic design of flowers in ikebana. The bridal bouquet was unlike any other I’ve seen with cascading yellows, greens purples and burgundy flowers. The flowers added unforgettable elegance and romance to our day. Thanks to the talented team at Thistle and Moon for making our wedding truly magical!

    Beautiful, magical, perfection

    Working with Mary was a dream. She is so creative and her work is absolutely stunning. She executed our vision perfectly and we wouldn't have changed a thing. We gave her the colors, dining format (family style), and a few other notes but left a lot of the creative stuff up to her and she nailed it. She also did the flowers for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party, then came and picked them up to re-use them around the wedding venue the next day. It was a level of service that was so unexpected and appreciated.

    The best experience!

    Mary and her team at Thistle & Moon perfectly captured our wedding weekend vision! They were so thoughtful, creative, and flexible, and truly made all of our design dreams come to life. We feel so fortunate to have found Mary and gotten to work with her - she operated seamlessly within our timeline and worked so well with all of our other vendors. Her team's beautiful work made our day so special.
