Hello, I am a hybrid (analog & digital) wedding photographer based in Eastern North Carolina, and I enjoy traveling regularly across the state, throughout the country, and internationally. My ethos is to be an unobtrusive observer, documenting the genuine, unscripted moments of your day as they naturally unfold. I believe the most beautiful photographs aren't the ones that are posed, but the quiet, fleeting glances and heartfelt laughter shared between you and your loved ones. Hope to connect soon!

One thing clear in my process is that I will abstain from random poses off a Pinterest board - Although some inspiration might help to envision some dynamics, I am here to create YOUR own unique moments. What will suit the real YOU! That said, I will most likely refrain from taking a shot that does not feel authentic or take away from the essence in spirit of your day. ​When it comes to some of the proposed posing in your Creative Portraits [portion] or formals, I will aim to keep it real and natural, so you will feel comfortable and far away from fake. Ultimately the connection with my couple is essential to the day's experience.

    We loved working with Allie Miller Photography for our wedding! Allie was so attentive, caring and compassionate throughout the planning process and on our big day. She has a great energy about her - funny and outgoing - that put us at ease. Allie did a beautiful job capturing the feel of our wedding through her photography. She used the venue's gorgeous natural light to enhance our portraits, which turned out wonderfully. I can ensure you'll get beautiful images in the highest quality, and the personal care you can expect for your day from me. With over 400+ weddings shot through the years, I already know all the dynamics for the day. My team and I will communicate with the venue, and/or event planner facilitating your wedding flow professionally - I provide a dynamic schedule for photography fitting your day's expectations.
Yes! I make sure to include a complimentary session for Collection I and II - While sessions hold no monetary value against any investment... But, in case we are unable to schedule for one due to time/life conflict, I have some options for you. These sessions are such a great advantage, it allows us to get-to-know each other a bit better, our time spent this day of will be a great indication about our dynamics for the big day.
On a typical wedding day I will be documenting all variables, i.e. size of wedding parties, guest-count, the coverage time & the day's timeline as well as event type, sites of coverage, timing, family formal photographs etc. These dynamics will dictate the volume of images from your day! In average 8 hour day wedding with a 2nd LEAD shooter will typically yield to an average of 800-1K +/-images.

After your discovery consultation and your decision to hire AMW for your day, a signed contract, a $1000 retainer, and a payment plan are chosen, we will be ready to start working with you.
In my 14+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve only had 1 wedding that needed a separate team photographing it in another state [Due to an unfortunate situation] However, in the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph the wedding [it is rare, but this can happen] I’ll make sure you’re covered by my contracted team. I'll handle editing, production, and delivery -
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires COI [certificate of insurance-liability] and I’ll send that over to them.
Although I provide between 75-150+ sneak peeks and their downloads within 24-48hours after the wedding day, my turnaround time varies by season. That said, your full wedding will be ready in about 21 working days from your wedding.
Definitely. All final images will be curated and edited for crop, exposure, and style standards to ensure they are as promised - I will do some basic retouching on the Bride and Groom. I also offer more detailed re-touching services like i.e. blemish removals and teeth whitening... For an additional charge, per image.
Typically, couples book me about 6- 18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. Let's talk soon!
A 2nd LEAD photographer is included in my 8 and 10-hour Collections. I also offer add-ons for additional services. For an addition in investment just inquire and we will recommend exactly what you may need.
