The Dancing Orchid
Flowers are unique and so are you. We want to design a memorable moment in your life by combining your ideas with our years of experience. Customer service and quality work are our top priority. You are not just a transaction in our books. We keep it straight forward, making the process simple. Our favorite design style is fun, flowing, whimsical with lots of color and texture, though we are well versed in many styles. We can mimic most anything we can see via Pinterest boards and inspiration photos. What you want is what we'll do. We embrace little touches like photos attached to the bouquet, special ribbons ex.
The Dancing Orchid is owned and run by Rebecca Knickerbocker, a woman native to Raleigh, NC. She stems from an artist filled family, and fell into the world of flowers as a teenager. She has been growing in the field ever since. With 15+ years in the industry including Retail, Wholesale and Events; The Dancing Orchid knows their stuff.

Fantastic Experience
Rebecca was fantastic to work with. She made the process so easy and the result was beautiful. Every single guest I spoke to at my wedding was amazed at the floral displays. She took my vision and ran with it to create an immaculate atmosphere for our special day.

Great value and great flowers
Rebecca and the team at The Dancing Orchid were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Rebecca was so responsive and open to all my requests and ideas. She brought it all together to bring to life my vision for under budget! The flowers were beautiful, the creativity and artistry to it was evident. Rebecca was willing to add last minute details like flowers on a baby walker, showing her creativity and willingness to meet my ideas and bring them to life. I couldn't have been happier with the final result and would highly recommend The Dancing Orchid to any couple looking for a talented and flexible florist for their wedding.

Rebecca is a total JOY to work with! She was the florist at my son’s wedding in 2011 and every arrangement was absolutely incredible from the bride’s and attendant’s bouquets, to the boutonnières, to the centerpieces- EVERYTHING!
