I’m a lover of flowers! This started early in life for me. I loved the outdoors! I was absolutely fascinated with the different types of blooms, and the way a landscape can come together. Always airing on the creative side, I let my ideas wander into things like culinary arts, and other creative outlets through my younger years, until finally finding my way into the floral design world. It was at that point I decided that now was my time, and began my journey of finding a place to learn this craft!

Now, fast forward a few years, and I’m a small business owner and a Mama to three little girls. Starting The Flower House allowed me to continue fulfilling my passion for flowers, but also gave me the flexibility to focus on Wedding & Event Design while working around a busy schedule with my little ones. Every day I strive to bring my clients’ weddings and Events to life through the use of gorgeous flowers and a creative vision.

We are experienced in both Weddings and Special Events. From large Weddings in Downtown Chicago, to an Anniversary Party on the North Shore, we are able to accommodate just about anything when it comes to a good old fashioned party!
We currently do not! But we’re happy to refer you to some wonderful planners & coordinators that we love to work with!
We receive flowers from all over the world, including Holland and South America. Being based out of Chicago, sometimes our local option are more limited due to weather. However, during the summer months, we source as much of our product as locally as we can.
We are currently operating out of a private space, by appointment only. We are located in Highland Park, just 25 minutes North of Chicago.
Yes! We are happy to take on events Downtown, and have experience with many venues in the city!
There are a lot of variable that go into the pricing for a wedding or special event. Those things range from how large your bridal party is, to what type of flowers you might be using, and are those flowers in season? In order to maintain the quality of our work, and manage expectations, we like to sit down with our clients in person and discuss their vision and the details of their special event.
Nope! We currently do not require a minimum to take on an events or weddings, but we currently do not offer single arrangement deliveries.
