Lunaria seeks to celebrate biological diversity and reflect the seasonal bounty of our region, while offsetting some of the social, economic, and environmental justice issues that plague the traditional floral industry. A portion of proceeds, product, and volunteer service is donated to local grassroots organizations advancing social and environmental justice.

Growing on a couple lots across West Philly, I work with flora farmed, foraged, and gleaned from our urban habitat. Lunaria’s specialty, human-scale practices are informed by a background in visual art, agro-ecology, music, and dance. In all areas, my mission is to celebrate connection with each other and our environments. The fleeting beauty of flowers reminds us to be present in this time and place.

We primarily work in the Philadelphia area but are able to partner with local flower farmers for weddings and events worldwide. We have a $2,500 minimum for floral delivery and $250 minimum for pickup. Since many weddings require a professional set up, we also charge a separate fee for event installation.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, as we custom grow for our clients, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you booked the date and location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 12 months before their big day.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We specialize in growing and sourcing local flowers and foliage.
Yes! We offer a variety of rentals for an additional cost: arches, chuppah, votives, pillars, candlesticks, floating candles, lanterns, bud vases, antique boxes, and more.
