About KoKeDaMa Flora

KoKeDaMa Flora

Artist/Owner

KoKeDaMa Flora -Classes, Markets & Events with Plant Craft & Flower Art. I produce the cut flowers, herbs and vegetables that I bring to markets weekly, serving my community. I host classes with our museum and community college in plant craft. I am a licensed nursery grower with NYS dept. of Agriculture, so I raise from seed the flowers that grow at the tiny house homestead, where I live with my Fiancé Joey and lab mix Copper. I just added a fun quiz to my website to help in your decision to work with me for your wedding. You can now find an updated contract on the website as well. A 90/60/30 day refund policy in response to query is new!

My style and connection to the plants and flowers I work with is what sets me apart from other florists. I have studied art my entire life and found working with plants and flowers to be the most natural fit. My style reflects the natural vibrancy in fresh cut flowers, my eye finds the collection of blooms, herbs and greens and my intuition guides the composition. The result is a wild garden of wonder to wow your guests at your ceremony. A bouquet overflowing with blooms delicate and fragrant. Enchanting designs to entertain at every table get special details to be appreciated.

    You won’t be disappointed!

Jasmine was an absolute pleasure to work with and hands down one of the best vendors we decided on for our wedding day. I saw her installation at a local wedding vendors event and knew that I wanted wanted to work with her immediately. She was thoughtful, professional and knowledgeable - I truly appreciated her patience and kindness throughout the whole process. We ended up going with bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnières, and potted plants and herbs for our tables. Everything was absolutely beautiful and exactly how we envisioned. Jasmine’s creativity and love for this work shines through each of her floral arrangements while still sticking to our vision of florals and our budget. I cannot thank Jasmine enough for going above and beyond all our expectations!!

A perfect addition to our nuptials

We were looking for a local flower vendor to zhuzh up our ceremony and add a classic element to our courthouse union. KoKeDaMa Flora was quick to reply, accommodated our budget, understood our vision and still added her classic flair that made the flowers stunning and fit in perfectly for the day. We would definitely recommend KoKeDaMa for your flower needs. Quality and price are great, but the real treasure is Jasmine's ability to create - a true artist with flowers.

Yes, I offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception. I take all necessary steps to ensure flowers and plants are composted and return to the earth.
I offer classes locally on how to press and dry flowers. I am happy to create a preserved expression of the flowers used at your wedding. Please ask about how you can host a flower pressing class for your wedding party, or a terrarium class to guests.
I work with plants and flowers. I make kokedama, a japanese bonsai, moss ball. These handheld balls of soft moss are home to precious plants. Miniature they make excellent favors, larger they add real life to tablescapes and hanging they create ethereal gardens. I also offer installations of plants and flowers, whether an indoor meadow or cascading foliage from balcony to bars.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
Our initial FREE consultation is a 20 minute meet and greet. I will want to know the W's. Who, Where and When. I will expect you have had a look at my work and time on my website. I will expect you to have an idea on how the bundles will apply to your vision. From here we can discuss any delivery or set up details if they apply. I will follow up with a proposal, payment plan and contract by email.
Not a common practice for me. I will provide as much info on specific flowers as I can, based on your interest. My minimum pricing is based on in season and readily available plants and flowers. My website shows what that looks like when you work with me. Industry specific issues have made floral predictions difficult now and for the next 18 months as we all get back to a normal.
