Hi, I’m Erica! A San Diego native, Ocean Beach local, and flower gal with a soft spot for unexpected color combinations and interesting textures. After a career in marketing and becoming a mom, I took a leap of faith to pursue my love of flowers. Named and inspired after my daughter, Isla Flor is my way of building a life around creativity, genuine connection, and creating wedding florals that feel personal, thoughtful, and uniquely you. I love creating wedding florals that feel a little unexpected but always intentional. Whether you’re dreaming of romantic garden blooms or something modern and sculptural, my goal is to create flowers that feel like you and ensure the process is collaborative, easygoing, and genuinely fun.

I care about every wedding as if it were my own. I’m obsessed with the details (in the best way), so you can trust I’m thinking of all the little things behind the scenes to make it come together seamlessly. My style blends romantic, garden-inspired blooms with unexpected color, playful textures, and sculptural elements. I never want to make the same flowers twice; every design should feel fresh and personal. I source seasonal blooms and support local flower markets whenever I can, always looking for new ways to create something unexpected and memorable.

    Highly recommend for your floral needs!

    Working with Isla Flor was such a lovely experience from start to finish. Erica understood exactly what I wanted for my bouquet and florals, and she went above and beyond to bring my vision to life. She guided me through decisions about the tablescape flowers and candles, making sure everything coordinated perfectly. On the day of, she set everything up beautifully and was right there when we needed her. Her designs were stunning and unique, nothing like what I'd seen at other weddings. I couldn't have asked for a better florist to make our day special :)

    Perfect florals!!

    I was recommended Erica by a friend and I am so so glad she ended up doing my wedding ceremony florals and bouquet! I gave her a budget and a general idea and she absolutely delivered my exact vision. She was amazing to work with, and I’m still looking back at the photos in awe!

Yes! We offer breakdown services, along with delivery, setup, and transferring florals from the ceremony to the reception where it makes sense. We love helping our couples maximize their floral investment by thoughtfully repurposing arrangements throughout the day to create the greatest impact.
Based in San Diego, Isla Flor serves weddings throughout Southern California, typically within a 100-mile radius, including trips to Palm Springs and LA. Planning something a little farther away? We’re happy to travel for destination weddings, too! Delivery fees vary based on location, distance, and event logistics and will be outlined in your personalized proposal.
We have a $1,500 minimum for custom floral pieces. We also offer elopement packages starting at $300.
