Carla & David Florists

Hi! We’re David and Carla — the husband and wife duo behind Bloomz. David is a proud Navy veteran and textile artist, and Carla is a multidisciplinary artist with a background in pottery, watercolor, product design, and digital art. Together, we discovered a shared love for creativity, flowers, and community — and Bloomz bloomed from that passion. It’s our dream brought to life: a space where art, nature, and connection come together, spreading joy (and a whole lot of blooms) throughout Fort Lauderdale and beyond.

Bloomz is a modern floral design studio rooted in retro soul and expressive floristry. Based in South Florida, we design weddings, brand activations, and custom event florals that feel intentional and deeply personal. Our work blends storytelling with thoughtful stem selection to create installations that reflect personality, not just fill a vase. We also offer a mobile flower bar from our vintage Datsun 280ZX, bringing interactive bouquet experiences to markets and special events. Every stem is chosen with care and crafted with heart.

The Best Florals & Most Contagious Energy!
As a wedding planner, I’ve worked with countless vendors, but Bloomz is truly in a league of their own. Their florals are consistently breathtaking—fresh, vibrant, and always possessing that unique, artistic look that sets an event apart. They have a distinct aesthetic that manages to feel both high-end and deeply personal. While they are a dream for weddings, I’ve also seen them knock it out of the park for corporate events and special celebrations of all kinds; they truly do it all. Beyond the incredible talent, Carla is a total powerhouse and quite literally the sweetest person I’ve ever worked with. Her energy is absolutely contagious; she brings a level of passion and joy to the planning process that makes every site visit and setup a total blast. It’s rare to find someone who is as technically skilled as they are wonderful to be around. If you want a florist who is a dream to collaborate with and will leave your guests in awe, I cannot recommend Carla and the Bloomz team enough!
