Blawesome

Blawesome is a four-acre flower farm in western Orange County, North Carolina. We grow over 75 varieties of beautiful, seasonal, organic cut flowers, perennials and herbs. We work hard to create arrangements that inspire joy and positivity, and we specialized in custom designs that incorporate the free spirit of native wildflowers into the more reserved romanticism of cultivated heirloom botanicals.

Blawesome is part of a larger movement known as social care farming, which uses farming as a therapeutic intervention to improve health, social, and vocational outcomes for vulnerable populations. At Blawesome, we use the beauty of locally grown flowers as a vehicle to promote higher expectations and improved community perspectives about potential and capability of individuals with developmental disabilities. Blawesome is owned and operated by a young man with autism. On this farm, we use the art and practice of growing, designing, and delivering organic cut flowers to promote self, environmental, and community sustainability.
