Wick & Flame was born from Lizette’s passion for candle-making and her determination to create something better than what she found on the shelves. After purchasing several candles from local stores and gift shops, she was disappointed by what she experienced — weak or unpleasant fragrances, poor performance, tunneling, and low-quality ingredients. From that frustration came inspiration: to design candles that not only smelled incredible, but also performed flawlessly. From the very beginning, Lizette set out to craft premium candles with rare, unique fragrances, using only high-quality, allergy-friendly “clean scent” oils.

Lizette set out to craft premium candles with 14 rare, unique fragrances, using only high-quality, allergy-friendly “clean scent” oils. Her goal was to offer candles that fill a room with captivating fragrance, burn cleanly and evenly, and provide a long-lasting, luxurious experience. At Wick & Flame, each candle is meticulously crafted with only the finest ingredients: our luxurious coconut–apricot wax blend, classic cotton or crackling wood wicks, and carefully chosen premium tin jars. Every candle is vegan, clean-burning, and free from parabens, sulphates, phthalates, and toxic chemicals — offering not just a fragrance, but peace of mind.

    Such beautiful wedding favours!

    Wick & Flame did our wedding favours and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lizette was wonderful and walked us through her process, helped us pick our wedding scent and even designed beautiful labels that fit our theme. We went with Mohave Blossom and Salt & Sage with cotton wicks and they turned out amazing. The perfect bow-on-top for our special day!!

    Fab scent perfect for open plan living

    These candles are EVERYTHING. Good size range and the scent carries beautifully.. I had a medium in an 8x6m room and the scent was subtle. Lizette is wonderful. So knowledgeable and so happy to help. Oh and the range of scents is gorgeous. A full 5 stars !!!

    I absolutely love my Moroccan Breeze candle!! The fragrance is incredible- fresh, exotic and long lasting. You can really tell it's a high-quality hand-poured scented candle. The scent fills my home without overpowering. Definitely one of the best candles I've ever owned! Can't wait to use the next one.

Of cause you can! Wicks on offer: - Classic cotton wick - Crackling Wood wick - Wick-less (to be used with a candle warmer) We recommend either: - Select 2 fragrances and do 1 fragrance with cotton wicks and the 2nd fragrance with crackling wood wicks; or - Select 1 fragrance and do half with cotton wicks and the other half with crackling wooden wicks
We use 2" round labels and print your custom labels on a thermal printer. Label colors: white (recommended), pink, aqua, purple, bronze-brown, kraft brown, yellow, pumpkin orange and wine red. Custom design/text: Provide us with your initials, wedding date and fragrance - we'll provide you with various mock-up templates to choose from. Alternatively, if you have a design in mind, email it and we'll test it. *Tip: thermal printers perform better with solid lines/text than fine/tiny lines/text.
Yes, we require a 50% deposit upon ordering. Contact us for a quote first based on the quantity of 3.5 oz scented candles you think you might need. Prices vary from $13 per candle if you only need 20 candles or a 40% discount at $7.80 each if you order 80 or more candles. Lead time: minimum 4 weeks but we recommend 3 months to allow sufficient time to not only order raw materials, but more importantly, allow the fragrance to cure/develop in the sealed tins.
