Hello! My name is Megan Pastrallo and I’ve been teaching ballroom dancing for several years. I have such a passion for curating those special moments for weddings and getting to be a part of people’s big day. Whether it’s first dances, mother/son, father/daughter, surprise dances, etc. I come into my lessons fully prepared with the best choreography to create the most memorable experiences. Regardless of your previous dance experience I can promise and fun and stress free learning environment for you and your loved ones. Let’s create that special moment together!

Many choreographers use the same choreography for every couple, but I carefully curate my choreography to fit your style, level and personalities. I want your dance to feel like you and show your connection. Your day deserves to be a one of a kind experience.

Single Lesson

Description

This lesson is great for people looking for a simple intro, how to lead/follow a few basic steps, and to learn a dip. Perfect for couples not looking for choreography, but natural basics that they can use the day of.

This package is for couple’s wanting specific choreography. You’ll have just enough time to learn all of your steps and be able to practice at home.

10 Private Lessons

Description

This is for the people who want to perfect their dance and are looking for a slightly more advanced routine. Or for people who just want more practice time! This package allows us to dive deep into specific details of your dance and really take it to an 11 out of 10. This is great if you’d like to do more than one song as well, such as a surprise dance!

    Loved this dance teacher!

    We've worked with Megan at The Ballroom Spot for group lessons before and loved how fun she makes everything, so it was a no-brainer to book her. From start to finish, she was helpful and patient, answering all our questions without making us feel rushed. Megan created the best experience for us—she knew exactly how to make us feel confident and comfortable.     First Dance!

    She is an amazing dance instructor. I'm a plus size girl and am limited to certain moves. She coreagraphed our first dance for our wedding. Helped me edit and provided the mixed song and dance we did without charge. Her prices are very reasonable and our wedding dance was epic! Thank you so much for everything you did for us. Made for a great memory at our wedding.

    Father/Daughter Dance

    Megan is an amazing dance instructor. She makes dancing fun & interactive, she’s well prepared, and she’s very encouraging and patient. My dad and I worked with her to learn our Father/Daughter wedding dance, and we had such a blast! She was our hype woman but also made us feel relaxed and comfortable doing something that was out of our element. We’ll look back on our time with Megan with fond memories and would recommend her to anyone!

I recommend starting in comfortable shoes the first couple of lessons then wearing either the shoes that you’ll be wearing for the wedding or something similar to get used to.
Absolutely! We can start with some basic steps that fit to almost any song and then adjust it to fit your exact music once you’ve chosen it.
That depends on how intricate of a dance you’re looking for. I always say the earlier the better because then you’ll have time to practice at home as much as you’d like, but I’ve had clients start the week of and just do one quick lesson for some easy basic steps! If you want a more choreographed, intricate dance then I recommend at least a few months in advance to give you enough time to practice as well as the ability to have stress-free scheduling.
Yes! Music editing is available in each private lesson package. Depending on which package you choose we edit anywhere from 1-5+ songs.
