Our favorite vendor at our wedding!

It is almost impossible to believe this was her first wedding as an emcee because she was an absolute PRO. Of all the people who helped make our event happen, she was one of the people our guests complimented the most afterward! We hired her because we chose to have a live band rather than a DJ, and the band wasn’t scheduled to begin until more than halfway through the event. That meant we needed someone who could do so much more than make announcements and she handled ALL of it. She ran our AV for the processional, recessional, a special video, and our dances; kept track of the itinerary and timeline; guided guests where they needed to be; introduced toasts; and kept everything flowing naturally. She even incorporated little details we had shared with her, like the stories behind our specialty drink names and why we chose certain songs for our special dances. She hosted a fun game for our guests too, which was such a great addition! What impressed us most was how naturally she did everything. She knew how to read the room, slip information in seamlessly, keep people engaged, and prevent those weird awkward pauses that can happen when nobody knows what they’re supposed to be doing next. Nothing felt forced or overly scripted. She also met with me several times beforehand to make sure every detail was set, and she offered so many thoughtful suggestions for things I hadn’t even considered. By the time the day arrived, I completely trusted her to take the reins and she absolutely delivered. If you’re using a live band, planning a nontraditional event, or simply want someone who can keep your celebration organized, she is phenomenal. She was professional, prepared, personable, and genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our event. Our guests loved her, and so did we!
