Dancing has always brought me such joy, and I love helping others experience that same joy. When it came to my own wedding, my fiancé had never danced before and was very concerned about what to do with a hundred people watching him. Teaching him our first dance was an amazing experience that brought us closer as a couple. We still do our dance just for fun even though our wedding has long since passed. Our first dance went so well that our friends asked me to choreograph their first dance too. As I watched them smile and laugh while dancing together at their wedding, I knew I wanted to bring that joy to others!

I create a memorable dance experience for clients with personalized choreography and lessons for weddings and events. My expert dance services will not only make your special day exceptional but will also bring you closer together as a couple with an experience tailored to you. By getting to know you and your partner, I ensure that your dance is an expression of you.

Description

This package allows for more flexibility and spontaneity for the leader. The turn combination can be done whenever or as many times as you want during your song. Your song does not need to be cut. You can dance for as much of the song as you want. This package is great for those who just want a little help and can pick things up pretty easily.

Full Choreography - 2 minutes

Description

This package is for those who want to know exactly what to do for their entire first dance. It is great for people who are nervous about dancing with a lot of people watching. With practice, a fully choreographed routine becomes muscle memory. During your first dance, you will be able to relax and have fun without having to make any decisions.

  • 2 minutes of fully choreographed dance material
  • Initial 2 hour lesson
  • Foundational Step
  • Leading/following Instruction
  • Musicality instruction- how to recognize the beat
  • 6 additional lessons - 1 hour each

Fully Choreographed - 1 minute

This package is ideal for a bridesmaids dance, groomsman dance, wedding party dance, a choreographed entrance, or a choreographed exit when most of the people dancing live too far away to attend regular lessons.

    Excellent experience as a dance newbie

    We had a wonderful experience working with Aubrey for our first dance. Aubrey was incredibly collaborative throughout the entire process, making sure the choreography felt personal to us and natural for our wedding. As someone who had hardly ever danced before, I really appreciated Aubrey’s patience, clear coaching, and ability to make each lesson feel approachable and fun. Hold Me Closer Dance and Wedding Productions is located in the South Hill neighborhood in Puyallup, Washington, just off Meridian avenue. If there is need for a group rehearsal or if a rehearsal take place elsewhere, you would be responsible for obtaining an appropriate rehearsal space and covering driving expenses.

Absolutely! We take your range of your physical abilities into account in everything we do. We don’t let limited range of motion, vision impairment, hearing impairment, or even wheel chairs hinder your experience!
Absolutely! A bespoke dance is a great way to elevate your wedding or event without creating waste. We also send all of our invoices and communications electronically, so there is no wasting paper.
