I’m Emily Meadows, a live wedding painter based in Floyd and Southwest Virginia. I hold a BFA in Studio Art and have spent over six years selling my work across the U.S. and internationally. I specialize in capturing weddings live, turning real-time moments into meaningful, one-of-a-kind heirlooms. I typically serve events within a two-hour drive of Floyd, but I’m happy to travel farther with a travel fee. The Keepsake

Description

After a pre-event consultation and 10% deposit, I arrive about 3 hours early to begin the artwork and paint throughout the celebration. Guests can watch the scene come to life, and the nearly finished piece is revealed to you by night’s end. Optional studio touch-ups ensure a polished, lasting keepsake delivered to your home.

What’s included
  • 16x20 inch canvas acrylic painting
  • 4-6 hours of on site painting at the wedding
  • up to 2 hours of touch up work in studio

The Signature

Description

The Signature package includes a live painting on an 18x24 inch canvas, perfect for capturing a special moment like your first dance or ceremony. I will arrive 3-4 hoours early to begin the background and paint live during the celebration, creating an engaging experience for guests. By the end of the night, the artwork is nearly complete and can be revealed before the couple departs. Optional studio touch-ups ensure a refined, lasting keepsake.

The Heirloom

Description

The Heirloom package features a 24x30 inch canvas, ideal for capturing grand scenes with rich detail. I will arrive several hours early to begin painting and continue live during your celebration, offering guests a unique and engaging experience. The larger canvas allows for more intricate elements, making it a true statement piece. The painting is typically revealed by the end of the night, with optional studio refinements available for a polished finish.

Guest Portrait Paintings

Description

Looking for a unique wedding favor? I’ll create live, hand-painted watercolor portraits of your guests during the reception. Each takes 5–10 minutes and captures their personality in a fun, expressive style. I can paint about 8–12 portraits per hour, offering both entertainment and a memorable keepsake. These charming mini-portraits are perfect for framing or displaying at home—your guests will love them!
