Word of Mouth BBQ
What started years ago with roasting pigs for family gatherings and special occasions has now grown into Word of Mouth BBQ, a family owned and operated BBQ and catering company serving Northeast Ohio. Today, you can find our trailers at festivals and events across Ohio, serving customer favorites like our famous “Big Fat Pulled Pork Sandwich”, loaded baked potatoes, fall-off-the-bone ribs, brisket, and other delicious creations. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of catering countless weddings and special events.
We enjoy working closely with every couple to create a menu that fits their vision and budget, while accommodating dietary needs so every guest can enjoy the celebration. Family has always been at the heart of what we do. Our children began helping us when they were 7 and 11 years old, and today they manage their own crews at festivals and catered events. As a family owned and operated business, we take pride in treating every event, every meal, and every customer like part of our extended family. Our commitment to quality food, friendly service, and hospitality is what keeps our customers coming back and sharing us by Word of Mouth.

Exceptional!
Word of Mouth BBQ was exceptional and we had them for our wedding reception this September. We actually were at another wedding that they catered originally and the food was fantastic so we decided to hire them for our reception. We worked with Cheryl the owner of the company from the beginning and she was so lovely to work with and talk to. She answered all of our questions, was so helpful and the communication was absolutely fantastic the entire time. For the amazing quality of food they provide they are in my opinion extremely affordable. Our guests could not stop complimenting us on how good the food was. Their team of workers were onsite cooking the food at our venue all day, then worked so hard all night long to take care of us. They were organized and really great at what they do from the setup to serving the over 200 guests and keeping that flow going well, restocking, making sure we had everything we needed, to clean up and packing up. They were all so nice and you could tell how hard they all worked during that day. Truly word of mouth, could not recommend them enough and hope we can continue to use them in the future again. We still cannot get over how consistent and delicious their food is every single time we have it and are so happy with chose them for our catering services.

Word of Mouth BBQ made our wedding day so special from start to finish. They were easy to work with, quick to respond, and always made sure we felt heard throughout the planning process. On the day of our event, the team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. The food was incredible—their BBQ had real flavor and you could tell it was made with care and passion. Every guest raved about the meal, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We'd absolutely recommend Word of Mouth BBQ to any couple looking for caterers who actually care about making your day special.

Great company - Amazing Food
We used word of mouth bbq for our wedding catering and it was great! Delicious food, plenty of it. Everyone is very nice, effective communication, great work. I would recommend them to anyone. They do a ton of weddings and events and have been in business for as long as I can remember! Must being doing something right!

Best bbq
My guests raved about the food all nite. The owner is a delight to work with. Her husband and a helper came and they were very nice as well. They were right on schedule arriving and with the dinner time. I changed head counts and options a few times and Cheryl was more than accommodating. Will hire again for other parties.
