I'm Brena. Front Porch Social is a mobile cart caterer based in Johnstown. We roll a beautifully styled cart into your celebration, build and serve the food in front of your guests, then clean up and go. We travel anywhere we can drive. A two-person elopement on a mountaintop. A 200-guest wedding with three carts and six attendants. A backyard in Loveland, a barn in Berthoud, a ballroom in Denver, a rehearsal dinner in Fort Collins, a late-night snack once the dancing starts. Ten experiences: Charcuterie, Sourdough Slider, Bagel Brunch, Cannoli, Cake Bar, Dirty Soda, Coffee & Tea, Protein Power, Frozen Banana and Mobile Bar. Mix them, book more than one, or bring us an idea we have never done.

We are not a traditional caterer, and that is the point. No plated dinner, no hidden kitchen. The cart is a piece of your decor that happens to feed everyone, and guests watch their plates come together. Because the whole setup travels, your venue needs no kitchen. We are licensed and insured, and we hold everything at or below 41F from our commissary to your guest's hand. Mountaintops, estates, backyards, ranches, barns: if we can drive to it, we can serve it. We scale by adding carts and staff, not by making the line longer.

    Amazing Food and Elevated Services

    We recently had Front Porch Social at one of our events and the feedback was amazing. The presentation of the charcuterie is still talked about and the food was delicious. We will absolutely hire them again for our next gathering.

Anywhere we can drive. Johnstown, Loveland, Berthoud, Longmont, Fort Collins, Greeley, Denver and Thornton are our standard service area with no travel fee. Beyond that we regularly go to the foothills, Estes Park, the mountain resort towns, Colorado Springs, and out onto the Eastern Plains for a travel fee quoted up front. A mountaintop overlook, a ranch down a dirt road, a backyard, a barn, a brewery, a rented hall: if there is a road to it and a flat spot for the cart, we can serve there.
Yes, and we love them. There is no guest minimum, just a $250 event minimum, so a twelve-person ceremony or a two-person elopement toast is worth booking. For very small gatherings we also do grab-and-go charcuterie boxes, beautifully styled and delivered, with no cart or attendant needed. If you want the full experience, one cart works just as well for ten guests or a hundred fifty.
Yes to both. We scale by adding carts and staff rather than making one line longer. A recent 200-guest wedding ran three stations with six attendants. Couples often pair a Charcuterie cart for cocktail hour with a Cannoli or Cake Bar for dessert and a Dirty Soda Bar for the kids and non-drinkers. Multiple carts depend on the date, so please ask early.
A flat spot about six feet by five feet for the cart, safe access to get it in and out, and ideally power nearby. Your venue does not need a kitchen: everything is prepped at our licensed commissary and travels with us in our own cold chain. Tell us if the site has no power, stairs, a long carry or soft ground and we will plan for it. Guest tables and chairs, tents and anything the venue itself charges for are not included.
We do not sell alcohol. Our Mobile Bar can accommodate pouring alcohol. We offer several non-alcoholic bar options as well: dirty sodas, mocktails, specialty coffee and tea, and mixers. If you supply your own alcohol we can serve it, arranged in writing in advance.
Setup, service from a professional on-site attendant, the fully customized menu for your cart, serving materials, napkins, utensils, and complete breakdown and cleanup. Travel within our standard service area is included. Extra service time is $25 per half hour.
Send an inquiry and you will hear back within 24 hours. We build a written quote with every line itemized. A signed quote and a 50 percent deposit hold your date, and the balance is due 7 days before. Deposits are non-refundable.
Book us for more than one moment: rehearsal dinners, welcome parties the night before, getting-ready snacks for the wedding party, cocktail hour grazing, a dessert cart in place of a cake, a late-night snack once the dancing starts, and a next-morning Bagel Brunch for out-of-town guests. Bridal showers, engagement parties and bachelorette weekends too.
