I am Cristin Thornhill, owner of Cakes by Cristin. I started designing cakes for family and friends many years ago as a hobby. It was a passion, and creative outlet for me while I was a stay at home mom. Word of mouth started to spread and the demand for my cakes continued to grow. I officially launched Cakes by Cristin when I found myself a single mom of a special needs son, and vivacious daughter. Cake designing has allowed me the opportunity to provide for my kids while being the sole caregiver.
