Hi, I’m Sarah, the brand manager and events director for 1928 Cuban Bistro. I’m here to help make your big day extra special with our Cuban-inspired catering. When I’m not working on weddings, I’m probably enjoying Cuban coffee, hanging out with my golden doodle and boyfriend, or planning my next vacation. Let’s create something unforgettable for your celebration!

At 1928 Cuban Bistro, we bring a one-of-a-kind Cuban experience to your wedding. Enjoy authentic flavors like lechón, ropa vieja, garlic sea bass, and empanadas, all hecho con amor. Our Cafécito Cart serves fresh Cuban espresso, cortaditos, and café con leche. We also offer traditional Cuban desserts like flan, tres leches, and arroz con leche. We provide buffet-style dinners with passed or stationary appetizers, plus full-service catering for setup, bussing, and breakdown. Most of all, we bring the warm hospitality and heart of a true Cuban celebration.

    We had 1928 Cuban Bistro cater our wedding, and I honestly can’t say enough good things. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and way above our expectations. The team working the event was incredible. Super friendly, attentive, and on top of every detail. The flow of the evening was seamless. The passed apps were timed perfectly, and the buffet was set up beautifully. Guests were raving about the food all night (especially the empanadas and ropa vieja). What really stood out to me was how well they took care of my bride and me. They made sure we had food while we were running around taking photos and greeting guests. They even prepped full plates for us and had them waiting so we could actually enjoy our dinner without stress. At the end of the night, everything was packed up neatly. Leftovers and all. Ready for us to take home. We got to enjoy the food again the next day, and it was just as amazing. If you’re looking for a catering team that goes above and beyond and actually cares about your event, this is it. 1928 helped make our wedding unforgettable. Highly recommend.

    Sarah and (don't remember the other guys name that was there) both were friendly and helpful and gave great suggestions and the coffee was fantastic! She made one for me as well as all our clients and the end client for the group and all gave great reviews.

    We wanted light bites for out morning wedding, and 1928 Cuban Bistro was able to deliver exactly what we needed! They had a great variety and were easy to work with for customizing the menu. We also had some gluten and dairy allergy needs, and it was easy for them to accommodate too! The big hit at the wedding was the cafecito cart! Highly recommend for anyone who is having a brunch wedding. They were also able to make delicious mimosas for us. Everything turned out perfectly and was delicious too! Would love to work with them again if we have the need.

    1928 Cuban Bistro catered our wedding and absolutely nailed it. We had the congri rice with ropa vieja and the braised chicken—both were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. The service was smooth and professional. Highly recommend for any event!
