Hi Loves! Welcome to Sweet Darling Cakery! My name is Marie Hillman and I am the creator and owner of Sweet Darling. I started creating cakes just as a side hobby which slowly turned into a full on business. I have been designing and creating delicious centerpieces for almost 10 years now. I recently took the jump to work on Sweet Darling full time after I graduated from culinary school and have been loving every second of it.

Something unique about Sweet Darling is that we are 100% vegan. No eggs. No dairy. Just a lot of love. Our mission is to help create memories by spreading joy and love without adding the harm! Our vision is to be a bakery that can eventually satisfy anyone’s health needs including gluten free, sugar free, kosher, Keto, and more!

    Above and Beyond!

    Marie was amazing! She brought our idea to life! I had been searching all over LA trying to find a baker who styled cakes with natural landscaping. When I found Marie here on Zola I was over the moon delighted that her style matched what we wanted. She even added our favorite sci-fi spaceship! There are no words that can express how grateful I am to Marie to making our cake become the reality and beauty we desired.

    Baptism Cake

    We ordered a chocolate with cookies and cream filling for our daughters baptism. Marie was so professional, her communication was excellent. I loved that she created a digital image of what my cake would look like so I had a visual representation. The flavor, texture and over all detail was so impressive! My family and I couldn’t stop raving about the cake!

When placing an order we ask that you let us know how many servings you need. From there we will suggest a cake size that will feed your guest perfectly! If you are looking for a jaw dropping centerpiece that can feed 100 people but only have 30 guest, then let us know you’re wanting a large cake without the extra slices.
Yes we do! When placing an order you can choose between picking up your cake or getting it delivered. We do charge a fee of $1.50 per mile and have a radius of 35 miles.
At Sweet Darling we only create custom cakes that are specifically designed to each client. We appreciate and accept any photos that clients send but will not recreate or copy others artwork.
