The “sweets” business is the only business I’ve ever known. I’ve been decorating cakes professionally for over 15 years! I come from a family who loves dessert. We believe that if you eat something savory, it must follow with sweet. I have always found great joy in creating pretty little works of art that (best of all) you could EAT! So when considering my career ambitions, it came naturally that I wanted to pursue my love for serving people with personalized sweets. I believe that flavor is just as important as appearance. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and I believe that if you love what you do, that joy overflows into your work.
Wedding planning can be a lot of work and I know there are many decisions to make! My hope is that upon inquiring with Kyrsten’s Sweet Designs, the decisions for your wedding day sweets will become EASY and that we can have FUN planning them together! :) My ultimate goal for your wedding day is to provide a beautiful display of sweets that perfectly compliments your wedding venue & personal style – and most importantly, that it will have you & your guests talking about how delicious everything was for years to come!

SOOOOOO good!!!
Kyrsten was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process! The cake tasting box early on was such a fun experience for us and such a sweet extra touch. Everyone had wonderful things to say about both our cake and cupcake flavors, and not only did everything taste amazing, but our cake was absolutely beautiful, too! Kyrsten even worked with our florist to make sure our florals matched the design of our cake! She also set aside a few cupcakes for us to take home so we could enjoy all of the flavors we picked! We are already looking forward to enjoying our anniversary cake, too! Kyrsten is such a sweet person, incredibly professional, and truly talented at what she does. She made the whole process so enjoyable, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We highly recommend Kyrsten to anyone looking for delicious desserts, a beautiful cake, and someone who genuinely cares about making your day special!

Our Dream Wedding Cake
Kyrsten was an absolute joy to work with! From the planning meetings, to the tasting box to the final product, our wedding cake - everything was perfect. Our final wedding cake design was slightly out of Kyrsten’s comfort zone but she was able to fuse her style with our vision and the end product was remarkable. Not only was our cake beautiful and exactly how we envisioned it, but it was also delicious! We selected almond cake with raspberry preserves and vanilla buttercream. I had several guests come up to me and share how much they enjoyed the taste of the cake. If you are considering working with Kyrsten’s Sweet Designs, do it! You won’t regret it!

The best experience
Working with Kyrsten was amazing from beginning to end. She was so incredible with making our vision come to life. So willing to try anything and really went above and beyond. I didn't have to worry about anything regarding the cake on the day of because I knew she had it all taken care of. Communication was great. The cake was AMAZING and got so many compliments. I would recommend this business to anyone!

Beautiful and tasty!
I wanted my cake to taste just as good as it looked. Kyrsten did just that. She is well organized. She is upfront with you about her creative abilities. I originally picked a design that had mostly fondant and instead of trying to wing it, she told me she probably wasn’t the baker for me. Her honesty made me want to work with her more. I’m glad I did!I never had to price wedding cakes before but she isn’t unreasonable in my opinion. I can’t wait to dig into the complimentary anniversary cake a year from now :)
