The “sweets” business is the only business I’ve ever known. I’ve been decorating cakes professionally for over 15 years! I come from a family who loves dessert. We believe that if you eat something savory, it must follow with sweet. I have always found great joy in creating pretty little works of art that (best of all) you could EAT! So when considering my career ambitions, it came naturally that I wanted to pursue my love for serving people with personalized sweets. I believe that flavor is just as important as appearance. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and I believe that if you love what you do, that joy overflows into your work.

Wedding planning can be a lot of work and I know there are many decisions to make! My hope is that upon inquiring with Kyrsten’s Sweet Designs, the decisions for your wedding day sweets will become EASY and that we can have FUN planning them together! :) My ultimate goal for your wedding day is to provide a beautiful display of sweets that perfectly compliments your wedding venue & personal style – and most importantly, that it will have you & your guests talking about how delicious everything was for years to come!

    Working with Kyrsten was amazing from beginning to end. She was so incredible with making our vision come to life. So willing to try anything and really went above and beyond. I didn't have to worry about anything regarding the cake on the day of because I knew she had it all taken care of. Communication was great. The cake was AMAZING and got so many compliments. I would recommend this business to anyone!

    I wanted my cake to taste just as good as it looked. Kyrsten did just that. She is well organized. She is upfront with you about her creative abilities. I originally picked a design that had mostly fondant and instead of trying to wing it, she told me she probably wasn’t the baker for me. Her honesty made me want to work with her more. I’m glad I did!I never had to price wedding cakes before but she isn’t unreasonable in my opinion. I can’t wait to dig into the complimentary anniversary cake a year from now :)
