Gingerspice Bakery

After pursuing a degree in fine art with a concentration in graphic design and working in the industry I took an opportunity to open a restaurant and market with my mom. As fate would have it, that business lead me to grow my baking skills and I later combined that with my desire to create fine art and started Gingerspice Bakery. Just as weddings are a team collaborative effort so is my process with you. I want to know what you love — what inspires you — to create something memorable and one of a kind for your dream wedding.

Gingerspice Cakes are bespoke designer cakes with a distinct culinary flair. Your partner and you aren’t like every other couple. Nicole brings her artistic background, trained eye, and your inspiration and personality to design a cake that matches you – not someone else.

    Still dreaming about our cake

    We realized we left an extra slice of cake in the fridge at our hotel room 30 minutes after we left... and drove back to get it because it was THAT good. Seriously, all of our guests were raving about the desserts -- even the people who don't usually like sweets! We asked for a classic, 3-tier cake with traditional piping and left the details in Nicole's hands. She far exceeded expectations, it was beautiful. The flavor was fresh and the cake was so moist. We also asked her to tackle a small dessert bar with other offerings and she did that no problem -- even adding on a special cookie that we requested. I love to bake and sweets are the way to my heart. Based on what we got from Gingerspice, she has my heart forever. My husband and I couldn't be happier and hope to come back year after year to order a small cake for our anniversary!

    Wedding Cake Heaven

    We were absolutely delighted to have found a bakery that offers such intricate flavors. Not only are the cakes absolutely wonderful, they are wonderfully decorated as well. As baked goods enthusiasts, the two cakes we got for our wedding were everything we could have dreamed of and more! Nicole is super professional, responsive, and talented. You cannot go wrong with her!
