Hello! My name is Porsha and I’m the owner of Cake Me Away. I’m a self-taught baker and have been baking since I was in high school. I officially transitioned from a hobby baker to an official business in 2019. Since then I’ve gained many repeat clients through word of mouth about my moist and delicious made from scratch cakes. I’ve created delicious cakes for birthdays, weddings, and other special events.
My made from scratch cakes set me apart from the competition. Scratch baking is something I’ve strived to perfect. My cakes are consistent in taste and deliciously moist. I strive for 100% satisfaction and look forward to creating the cake of your dreams.

This 50 guest package will provide a variety of desserts for you and your guest to enjoy on your special day. Delivery & Set Up Fee: $150 - $250 depending on venue distance. This fee is mandatory and not included in package pricing.

- 12 monogram sugar cookies

THE CUPCAKESSSS
My husband and I had our wedding on 11/01/2025 and I am just now getting around to writing reviews! Portia (sorry if I misspelled it!) was absolutely amazing! the tasting went wonderful and she was very professional! the cakes we wanted were not super crazy but she nailed every part of them! We did a 2 tier marble cake which was amazing, the groom's cake was a Georgia themed Football which was 1 part carrot cake and 1 part red velvet which left us speechless, and the absolute show stopper was the banana pudding cupcakes! Oh my gravy these were the talk of the night! All the cakes were so moist and rich but also decadent and tasted like happiness lol! In regards to Portia herself, I would have to say she is a pleasure to work with! I had at least 3,475 questions throughout the process and she was so patient and understanding and on time!! I would absolutely recommend Cake Me Away for anything you need! GO FOR THE BANANA PUDDING CUPCAKES!!

A friend brought a piece over from her birthday party. It was the best, most delicious, moist, chocolate cake, with scrumptious vanilla icing with a thin layer of sweet something. I have eaten lots of cake in my 80 years, this was definitely the very best. Will highly recommend.
