Seriously, we couldn’t have asked for a better bartending team than Thirsty Ranch. From the very beginning, communication was clear, prompt, and incredibly helpful, which made planning so easy. On the wedding day, the staff was professional, friendly, and kept everything running seamlessly. The drinks were exceptional—beautifully made and consistently perfect all night. Our guests are still talking about them. They truly elevated our entire reception. Thank you Melissa for making our special day more special. The Thirsty Ranch was absolutely amazing! We had them at our wedding and were blown away by how amazing Melissa (the owner) and her crew were. They were so very accommodating and were just so sweet! Everyone loved the drinks and we are so thankful we had them!!

The wedding day itself went just as we had hoped. The bartenders were fantastic, and our guests had nothing but positive things to say. Unfortunately, the weeks that followed ultimately changed my overall experience. The alcohol purchase was coordinated through a third-party distributor, and I was told that any unopened alcohol would be refunded within “a week or so” after the wedding. Instead, what followed was weeks of trying to get answers. I was told three attempts had been made to refund my credit card and that all had failed, which was why a check needed to be mailed instead. My credit card company later confirmed that no refund attempts had ever been made. After providing my mailing address, I spent another three weeks repeatedly following up about the check. As I approached the deadline to dispute the charge with my credit card company, I contacted the distributor directly for a second time and was told the check had already been mailed the week before. Based on that conversation and the fact that I still hadn’t received anything, I filed the dispute that evening. When the check arrived several days later, the envelope was postmarked later than I had been told it was mailed, and the refund amount was less than what I had previously been told to expect. Looking back, there were a few smaller communication issues during the planning process that I initially brushed aside. For example, I had to follow up about our alcohol order a week before the wedding because the invoice had never been sent. Thankfully it was resolved in time, but it contributed to an overall feeling that important details weren’t always being followed through on. Another disappointment involved one of the main reasons we chose The Thirsty Ranch in the first place: their Cupcake Bar. At the time we booked, it was advertised as an interactive build-your-own cupcake experience, and it was a huge selling point for us. Throughout the planning process, I remained under the impression that we were getting that experience. Our invoice still listed the Cupcake Bar Signature Package, and I was sent a menu showing our selected cupcake flavors to review. However, at no point was it clearly communicated that the interactive Cupcake Bar we booked had been replaced with pre-frosted cupcakes. We didn’t realize until our reception that the cupcakes had already been frosted. While the display itself looked beautiful, it wasn’t the interactive dessert experience we believed we had booked. The bartenders did an excellent job on our wedding day, but the way the refund was handled afterward and the lack of clear communication surrounding the Cupcake Bar overshadowed what would have otherwise been a wonderful experience.
