Soulution

Soulution is a wedding band based in Greenville, SC. We LOVE working with couples to make their night perfect. Soulution has over a decade of experience, playing hundreds of weddings, so we can walk you through the process and provide recommendations when you're unsure of exactly what you want.

Soulution was founded by a group of musicians with an impressive resume of experience and accolades. Coming from humble beginnings, with hard work and dedication our band members have earned Grammy nominations, toured across the country and even internationally with Grammy winners, and have been trusted by some of Pop music’s biggest names to put on amazing shows in front of massive crowds.     The BEST

    The one thing I had to have at our wedding was a good band, and Soulution did not disappoint. They exceeded all of our expectations. They are incredible performers. People are still talking about them months after our wedding. I barely remember leaving the dance floor that night. Such a great time, and they are beyond easy to work with!

    Best wedding band

    I am the venue manager at Yesterday Spaces in Asheville NC. I've hosted over 200 weddings here in the last 5 years, and Soulution has performed here more than any other band. SOULUTION IS ABSOLUTELY MY TOP RECOMMENDATION AS A WEDDING BAND. Their repertoire and sound are top-notch, they aren't overpoweringly loud and harsh like some bands can be, they have women and men in the band, and they really get people up and dancing! Wonderful people, great at interacting with the audience, and they really feel like teammates who are invested in the whole event, not just promoting themselves.

    Awesome band!!!

    Soulution played for our daughters wedding Nov 2021. Guests at the wedding kept telling us how much fun they were having and how much they enjoyed Soulution! This group knows how to keep guests on the dance floor. Ethan is easy to work with too! I would highly recommend!!

Our go to is all black dress clothes. We want to be as dressed up as the guests are but still stand out from the crowd. The guys wear black suits typically without a tie. If your event is “black tie”, we can definitely dress it up a little with ties. Our female vocalist is the fashionista and has the leeway to stand out from all of us guys.
Definitely! Especially if it’s for the first dances. We like to be able to offer a special experience for your first dances by performing them live. We ask for song requests at least a month in advance. There are a lot of additional songs that we’ve performed over the years that haven’t made it on the permanent song list so we may already know a song you have in mind!
Some venues require that vendors carry insurance and name them as the beneficiary. We take this case by case. Generally, a venue’s general liability insurance is enough to cover you for an event. We can add general liability insurance for dates if it is required.
We ask for access to the venue 2 hours in advance of when guests arrive. We want to give ourselves enough time to set up and be cleaned up before any guests come into the reception area. We also take some time to soundcheck because every room sounds different.
We don’t charge clients any sales tax.
A typical event for us is 5 hours. Within reason, we’ll work with your timeline though. You’re getting us for the day. Adding or subtracting an hour doesn’t allow us to go play another event that evening. We don’t want to charge you more money and understand timelines are different, so give us the breakdown of the night and we’ll try to work with what works best for you.
As long as we’re on flat and solid ground, we don’t need a stage. Even if we’re outside, as long as we’re on a deck or concrete, we’re good to go. We can’t set up on grass, mulch, sand, etc though. We don’t travel with our own stage.
We try our best to take our breaks when other things are happening. Toasts, garter toss, etc. When your timeline comes together, we can pencil in the best places to take our breaks. We provide DJing during breaks. We have our playlists but can also use your own playlist if you want to choose the music.
We’re generally on site several hours before guests arrive and at least an hour after everyone leaves so we need to be fed there on site. We’re not picky though. We can eat vendor meals or directly off the buffet. Whatever works best for you and your planner/venue.
