RVA Violinist

Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a professional violinist with the Richmond Symphony and Artistic Director of the Richmond Chamber Players. I love helping couples create ceremony moments that feel deeply personal and beautifully set. From Bach to Taylor Swift (and everything in between), I’m happy to customize your music so it feels like you. Weddings are such meaningful days, and it’s truly an honor to provide the soundtrack to those moments.

I bring both high-level professional experience and extensive formal training to every wedding. I hold a Master of Music in Violin Performance and Chamber Music from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt’s Blair School of Music, with additional training in baroque violin. I am a section violinist with the Richmond Symphony and serve as Artistic Director of a classical music non-profit, so I approach your ceremony with the same artistry and preparation I bring to the concert stage. And all the while keeping the process easy and collaborative!
