The Phoenix String Quartet has provided Musical ensembles to Arizona for over 30 years. We offer string quartets, trios, duets, solos, octets, string orchestras and a full Philharmonic Orchestra for large events. Our fees are based on the number of musicians and the time required.

As one of Arizona's longest standing ensembles we have had the honor to perform before Governors, congressman, US Supreme court justices and even the vice president of the United States. Our venue includes weddings, receptions, private parties, educational workshops, corporate functions, dinner parties, banguets, civil ceremonies, live theater and formal concerts. Our repertoire includes music of many styles including Classical, Musicals, Movie music, and pops.

o Dress code is formal concert attire, tux/suite. Black and white.
Every wedding is different, usually: ** prelude music as guests arrive. (15-30 min.) ** ceremony (30-40 min.) ** exit of bridal party, postlude, music during photos and or drinks after ceremony (1/2 -1 hour) ** dinner or reception (1-3 hours)
The quartet requires only 4 upright chairs, without arms, and access to AC power and total shade to protect the instruments.
A string quartet covers the parts more fully than a trio and has a warmer sound. The difference in volume is negligible so your choice should be based on the sound you prefer. A string trio makes a beautiful sound and is a popular selection as well and is slightly lower in cost.
We offer String quartets, trios, duets, solos for small ensembles and String Octets, string orchestras and a full Philharmonic Orchestra for Larger Ensembles.
