Mike Yates, Steel Drums

I am an instrumental performer specializing in Latin percussion, including steel drums. Each performance is shaped by the client’s input to create the ideal atmosphere and meet their expectations. My goal is to set a relaxed, welcoming mood that allows couples and their guests to fully enjoy the experience.

I am a solo act, and I create loops and create a rhythmic atmosphere that engages with the audience. I love Calypso, Reggae and love island sharing vibes through my steel drums. I play Bob Marley, Harry Balafonte among other traditional tropical troubadours of the past and present.
