DJ Kaila

Kaila is a Canadian singer, song writer and musician. Her style is best described as a mixed blend between “70’s disco soul and rock edge.” Her music seeks to find that perfect balance of harmonies between the fusion of old school dance (Disco, Funk, Pop, Rock) and new school music (Electro, EDM, Dance). What separates her from the rest of the pretty girls that can sing is her musical studies: Kaila studied classical and jazz theory with an emphasis on Vocal Techniques, Music Business and Live Sound Set-up.

Kaila is the type of girl who isn’t afraid of a challenge. Always willing to plunge into the unknown and experiment with new things, her “why not” and “don’t give up” attitude landed her a coveted spot on “La Voix” (the French-Canadian TV version of the immensely successful American TV Show “The Voice”). She is currently recording her first full album with BTB Music, which consists of producer Sorin Pavelesco and rapper/songwriter Mike Kapoor (aka Mr Bolly).
