What is your travel and break down fee?

Accepted Answer

There’s no extra charge for weddings within 40 miles of Missoula. For events beyond that, I charge $0.85 per mile (round trip). If your celebration is more than 60 miles away, overnight accommodations are required (and always appreciated). Setup and breakdown are included in every package — no surprise fees, ever.

Do you take music requests?

Absolutely. I love weaving guest requests into the night — as long as they fit your vision and keep the energy flowing. Before the wedding, you’ll fill out my Music Personality Questionnaire, which includes must-plays and do-not-plays, so I always know your priorities. On the day of, I use those guidelines to decide which requests make sense. That way the dance floor feels fun and spontaneous, but still authentic to you.

How early do you come to set up?

I typically arrive about two hours before guests arrive. This gives me plenty of time to set up, soundcheck, and make sure everything looks and sounds perfect before the first person walks in. For larger or more complex setups, I’ll plan even earlier so there’s never a rush. My goal is to have the music and atmosphere ready to go the moment your guests arrive.

Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes — both. My ceremony setup is fully battery-powered with wireless microphones, so every guest hears your vows clearly no matter the location. Cocktail hour coverage is included too, with a curated playlist that sets the mood as guests mingle. I think of the very first song of the day as the start of a chain that links all the way to the end — the flow is continuous, intentional, and for real.

By reading the room in real time. I don’t just press play on a list — I watch who’s on the floor, who’s at the bar, and what songs light people up. I weave your must-plays with unexpected favorites and build a flow that feels natural. The goal isn’t just a packed floor, but a dance floor that feels alive.

I only take on one event per day, which means when you book me, you get me — fully present and fully committed. I focus on curated sound, clean production, and authentic MC presence. No filler, no clichés, just a soundtrack that’s intentional and personal to you.

They run the show, and I support them. I never move a timeline moment forward without checking in, because nothing should happen before the photographer is ready to capture it. That collaboration makes everything seamless and ensures your memories look as good as they feel.

Yes — every transition is intentional. I don’t fade songs out halfway or hit stop/start. I mix tracks in a way that keeps the energy flowing, so the music feels continuous and the vibe never drops.

It won’t — because I plan for it. I bring backup gear for every critical piece of equipment: speakers, microphones, cables, and power. If something fails, the music keeps going without a hitch. You’ll never even notice.
