Not terrible but wouldn’t recommend
Let me start with the good things about working with my DJ Chris: His equipment functioned properly and the sound filled our large venue space. Chris has a good announcer voice. Chris was good at cutting songs when the crowd seemed to disengage. Here are the things that didn’t go so well: The worst thing that happened was that Chris was late to our wedding. He told us he would arrive at 2 for our 4:30 ceremony. We were supposed to have ceremony music starting at 4. Chris arrived shortly before 4:30. Our guests started to arrive at 4 but could not sit down until 4:35 because Chris was not ready. Chris also asked our bridal party to help him set up his equipment because he would not have been able to start the ceremony close to on time without their help. Our groomsmen were running around the venue with Chris’s equipment and doing his job instead of hanging out with us before the ceremony. Chris also wore a tshirt and gym shorts to our ceremony because he didn’t have time to change. Our other big concern with Chris was that he would not stick to the songs we asked him to play. Our guests noticed that Chris was trying to promote his own artistic expression instead of playing the songs we wanted. I asked Chris four times during the wedding to stick to our songs, and he didn’t listen. When I followed up with him after the wedding, he said that 58% of the songs he played were from our playlist or guest requests. 58% doesn’t sound that high, especially considering I asked him so many times to stick to our selections. I met with Chris and the B. Remembered owner Daniel afterwards to express my concerns. They gave a partial refund, but the way they spoke to me felt sketchy and disingenuous. Daniel denied that Chris was late to my wedding. He said Chris would have been able to set up and start on time without enlisting my friends. If this is true, why did Chris ask my friends to help him? Daniel also said that Chris was able to change his outfit before the ceremony. I’m not super annoyed about Chris’s outfit, but it was weird for Daniel to lie about it. Chris was routinely late to our meetings before the wedding. On the worst occasion, he was 40 minutes late. Chris didn’t seem to take notes during our meetings and asked us the same questions every time. Our dance floor was still really fun, but my wedding day was a lot more stressful because I had to babysit Chris. I would recommend working with someone more professional and organized.
Response from vendor•Sep 23, 2025Hi Julie, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that your guests enjoyed the dance floor and that Chris’s equipment performed well. For clarification: Chris arrived on site in plenty of time to start the ceremony on schedule, and all setup was completed prior to your first look. Any assistance offered by your groomsmen was entirely voluntary. Chris changed into formal attire before the ceremony, and he played a combination of the playlist provided along with guest requests to keep the energy flowing throughout the event. We’ve also recently launched our new platform, which allows couples to choose their preferred vendors directly and manage every detail of their wedding day, including timelines, playlists, and messaging. This gives couples more control and transparency, ensuring their vision is executed exactly as they want. Chris has worked hundreds of weddings with consistent positive reviews, and we remain committed to delivering the highest level of service. We’re happy to discuss any additional photo edits or moments you feel were missed to ensure you have lasting memories from your day. Thank you, Daniel Krikorian & the B. Remembered TeamBride
Our experience with B. Remembered Entertainment was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Their communication style was awful - they were inconsistent and lacked professionalism throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and overall value was poor - they made multiple mistakes that disrupted our special day. For example, they started the groom's entrance three times while he was walking down the aisle, didn't introduce the mother of the groom, and didn't provide any music for the cocktail hour despite us paying for that service. We ended up having to use our own karaoke machine for the ceremony. Overall, it was an upsetting experience and I would not recommend B. Remembered Entertainment to any couple planning their wedding.
Good
It was a great experience. The DJ was a very nice and professional.
Response from vendor•Aug 28, 2024Hi Rajwinder, thank you for your review! If you would like to contact us through and email and let us know how we could have made it a 5 star experience for you, we would love to hear more!Matilda was AMAZING!
We cannot say enough good things about Matilda and B. Remembered! Matilda was amazing as a DJ, played all the songs we wanted and my wife and I were on the dance floor the whole night. All our guests keep commenting about how great she was. We’ve even had comments saying that we’ve never seen a couple have so much fun at their own wedding- all thanks to Matilda and her amazing set list! She definitely kept the energy up and kept the party going! Would use her again in a heartbeat!
