Ted Crowder is a veteran Atlanta based DJ with over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Since beginning his DJ career in 1994, Ted has performed at more than 2,000 weddings and events across the Metro Atlanta area. He is known for his ability to "read the crowd" and his professional approach to event emceeing. Beyond performing, Ted is a Past President of the Georgia DJ Association and a certified wedding consultant.

I always say, "All I want is a pat on the back when it's over, I don't care what I have to do to get it." Meaning, I will do whatever you say. Your wedding will be custom tailored. I may offer professional suggestions if you ask, but you're the boss!

    Ted was our DJ and he was perfect, we absolutely loved him. I noticed something that I thought I would share in this review. In the pre-planning, I emailed him and asked, “How to you know what song to play when people are dancing?” I’m going to copy and paste what he emailed back to me: “Reading a crowd is something you just involuntarily learn to do. You look at the people dancing, you see how many guys, how many girls, the average age of the people dancing, what song is playing right now, what were the last five songs that I played? Is it time to change genres? Is it time for a slow song? And 100 other little details are running through my head and a song comes to mind, It’s like I’m playing a game of chess with the dance floor.” For some reason this stuck with me and occasionally I would watch him and I could see he was studying every move the dance floor made. I saw him pick a song, then watch for another minute, change his mind and pick another song and in my opinion every song he played was the perfect song. I’m a school teacher and probably overly analytical and this was rather fascinating for me to watch. But if you want to hire a true professional, who knows exactly what he is doing, hire this man! Ted, I hope it’s okay that I shared this about you!

    Ted is an outstanding wedding DJ, and our experience with him was truly exceptional from start to finish. He was extremely professional, organized and attentive to every detail, making the planning process easy and stress free. Ted took the time to connect with us before our wedding, listened to all our song requests and effortlessly coordinated with other vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. On our big day, his expertise really showed, our dance floor was packed all night and our guests kept complimenting the incredible playlist and atmosphere he created. Ted has an amazing ability to read the crowd, keep everyone engaged and adapt to any last minute changes without missing a beat.
