    So much fun!

    This Band is the Definition of FUN

    ATO is hands down one of the most fun and high energy bands in the area. You can trust that their communication will be reliable, fast, and trustworthy throughout the entire planning process.     Really Good

    Against The Odds was a fantastic choice for our wedding band and DJ. They had a friendly, accommodating, and chill communication style that put us at ease throughout the planning process. As really good musicians, they kept the dance floor packed all night with their great song selection - all of their songs were perfect for dancing. They were also great at engaging with our wedding party and getting everyone involved. In addition to their excellent performance at our wedding, we've also seen them at local bars and can attest to their popularity in the community. Absolutely! ATO is happy to learn new songs to make your wedding or event even more personal. Whether it’s your first dance, a special family song, or a crowd favorite, we’ll take the time to learn and perform it just for you. Song requests are included in all our packages, with more customization options available in our higher-tier packages.
We don’t take live song requests during our shows, as we focus on delivering a polished, high-quality performance of the songs we know best. Our setlist is carefully curated to keep the energy high and the dance floor full all night long!
Yes! We provide music for both wedding ceremonies and cocktail receptions. Since we bring our own full PA system, we’re happy to set it up and provide sound for these portions of your special day as well.

While ATO specializes in modern, pop, rock, and funk music, we’re always open to incorporating special requests that make your celebration unique. If you need specific cultural, religious, or specialty music, we’re happy to coordinate with you or work alongside additional musicians to ensure every part of your event is represented beautifully.
Sound Tech and the band manager show up 2.5 hours early to start setting up
Our style is a blend of modern pop, alternative rock, and funk, high-energy, feel-good music that gets everyone on the dance floor. We bring a fresh, contemporary sound while still honoring timeless classics, creating a perfect mix that keeps guests of all ages engaged and celebrating all night long.
Our travel and setup/breakdown fees are minimal and based on the event’s location. For local events within the Triangle area, there’s no additional charge. For venues outside that range, we include a small travel fee to cover transportation and setup time. All pricing is discussed upfront so there are no surprises.
We are a registered LLC, which means we operate as a legitimate business and take every event seriously. While we are not currently insured, we maintain professional standards in all of our performances and equipment management.
We currently focus exclusively on providing high-quality live music and sound. While we don’t offer additional services like lighting or photo booths, we’re happy to coordinate with your vendors to ensure everything flows smoothly.
Our sales tax is already built into our package pricing. Since we operate as an LLC, all quoted rates are inclusive, no hidden fees or surprise add-ons.
