Afrah Events

With more than 15 years of experience in Zaffa and Dabke dancing, and after performing on many plays events and weddings all over the Arab countries Cyprus, Romania, Turkey, Venezuela, Malizia and more… Eyad moved to USA to establish the Afrah Events dance group. At the time, the Arab community needed quality zaffa and dabke groups. However, it was very difficult to find other passionate dancers and performs. Still, Eyad continued to search for the right group to create Afrah Events. Slowly, but surely, he recruited an extremely talented team of dancers…

After their first few events, the word was out. Afrah Events has brought traditional zaffa and dabka to the US! Today, our group has over 60 dancers who are ready to rock your weddings and events with new creative Dabka shows, music and different Zaffe styles and ideas, to make your occasions unforgettable.

    Amazing for weddings, highly recommend!

    Booking Afrah Events for our wedding was one of the highlights of our entire night. Eyad was wonderful to work with, was super responsive to feedback and ideas, and nailed exactly the vision we were communicating to him. We had a mixed wedding, and not all of our guests were familiar with Lebanese and Egyptian culture, but the zaffe brought an incredible burst of energy that pulled everyone onto the dance floor and set the tone for the rest of the evening. It was a really meaningful way to share our heritage with our guests, and Eyad and his performers delivered it perfectly. We'd recommend them to any couple looking to add that energy and tradition to their celebration.

    Unbelievable Lebanese Zaffa

    We had a half Lebanese/ half American wedding in CT and booked with Eyad for a traditional Lebanese zaffa, DJ/MC, cloud machine and lighting. The American side had never been exposed to a Lebanese wedding before. When they came out for the grand entrance and Zaffa, the whole crowd was on their feet! Every single wedding guest was on the dance floor learning and doing Dabke. They pumped up the wedding party for the whole rest of the night! We had so many people raving to us after the wedding about how “unbelievable” and “over the top” it was. I truly cannot express how fantastic they were. A wedding we will never forget. Do not hesitate to add Afrah to your wedding!!!
