“When we initially booked The Pavilion, we were working with someone who ended up moving on to better things and we were then in communication with Katie, who was friendly and above and beyond professional when it came to response time and the 50 million questions you have leading up to your big day. We worked with Staci for the Henrici’s catering, the food was phenomenal. She was great. She was friendly, she was respectful and kind leading up to even the week before with giving some sort of reassurance when needed as a busy bride. The 30 days before, we worked with Jill who was friendly at first but then eventually kind of became a headache and added so much more stress on me than I could ever imagine. If it wouldn’t have been such a huge financial loss, I probably would’ve cancelled my whole day. They split your “final payment” into two final payments instead of one. So that was really confusing, and we had no idea until the week OF our wedding that we still would’ve even owed money. There was miscommunication on attendance several times, the working staff was friendly but was pretty pushy through the night to where even bridesmaids and my photographer and DJ mentioned to me. We were supposed to end our night at 10:30, but it ended at 9. Overall, gorgeous venue, mostly friendly office staff, friendly but pushy catering staff. 3.5 out of 5 stars if I could based off that experience alone.”

Williams Tree Farm
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Rockton, IL
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,975

Through the years we have had the privilege of being a part of beautiful Christmas Memories and have been honored to play a small role in your Weddings, Receptions, & Family Celebrations for over 40 years! The Lodge and Grounds of Williams Tree Farm have come a long way from their original state. We have completely remodeled our building making a log cabin front with a post and beam interior. Almost all of the wood in the building was grown and harvested from our older trees, which makes our Lodge very unique. A beautiful Field Stone Fire place greets you as you walk in. Homemade wooden top tables, field picked grapevine with lights, onsite parking, patio area for lawn games and natural trails throughout the grounds provide you with the perfect private celebration. We are located approximately 12 minutes from Beloit, WI, 25 minutes from Rockford, IL . Both of these amazing Cities have lots of options for your guest to be entertained and accommodations to stay!

“We chose Williams Tree Farm for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The team was easy to work with from start to finish, and their emails always came back quick so planning felt stress-free. What really stood out was how much space they have – everyone could spread out and enjoy the day without feeling cramped. On the wedding day itself, they had staff ready to help us set up and they nailed the timing for our ceremony, so everything flowed perfectly. If you're looking for a venue that's spacious and has a staff that actually cares about making your day run smoothly, Williams Tree Farm is worth checking out.”

Pheasant Valley Barn
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Brooklyn, WI
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor

We welcome you to Pheasant Valley Barn! The barn is nestled in a scenic valley in the middle of our farm. The Byrne family started dairy farming in Wisconsin after emigrating from Ireland in the 1870's. In 2003, we decided to renovate our 1890's barn. We added a new metal roof and restored the interior of the barn. To celebrate, we had a barn dance for Duane's parents' 40th anniversary. Thus began "The Party Barn". In the fall of 2018, our son Cory married his fiance, Jenny. It confirmed our idea of starting a barn venue and sharing our barn and farm with others. We have been asked many times, "Why don't you rent out this barn?" We have decided the time is right to diversify our farm and start this event business. We are so happy that we restored our barn. As more and more barns and farms are lost, our barn is preserved and now can be shared with others to create a memorable and special day for your event!

“My husband and I were married at Pheasant Valley Barn this past summer and we could not have been happier with our venue choice. Lindsay, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process, offering timely advice and insights that ensured our rustic, flower-filled wedding vision came to life seamlessly. The beautiful, open barn provided a warm, welcoming backdrop for our special day. Lindsay worked hard to infuse personal touches that made our wedding feel unique. From the first venue walkthrough to the final farewell, Lindsay was there to answer every question, calm every worry, and handle all the behind-the-scenes details with total professionalism. We were able to relax and soak in every magical moment knowing we were in very capable hands. I would enthusiastically recommend Pheasant Valley Barn to any engaged couple searching for a venue that delivers beauty, charm, and outstanding service.”

September stands as Illinois' most popular wedding month so you'll need to book well in advance. Most venues are secured about 15 months (457 days) ahead with venue inquiries typically representing couples' first wedding planning step. Look for venues offering comprehensive packages that include essentials like tables chairs and audio equipment. This approach often delivers better value than piecing services together separately.

Can Illinois Venues Accommodate Remote Wedding Participants?

While traditional venues might not explicitly advertise advanced remote participation many can adapt for hybrid events. Consider working with places like Cheney Mansion Starved Rock Lodge or Mt. Zion Convention Center to implement interactive elements beyond basic streaming. You could incorporate virtual reality experiences or live polls to keep remote guests fully engaged in your celebration.
